Scofflaw Halloween Trio - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys, uber late post tonight I know! But I wanted to post these before the restock tomorrow! (Details below!)

Redrum - Two Coats.

"a rusty (like dried blood! Scary!) shimmer polish filled with coppery highlights and

glitters in red, orange, and brown. It's completely opaque in two or three coats."

The Worst Witch - Two Coats.

"a cheerful pumpkin orange jelly polish filled with coppery-golden highlights and glitters in red,

orange, gold, copper, and navy blue. It's completely opaque in two or three coats."

Rosemary's Baby Blues - Two Coats.

"a semi-sheer eggshell blue creme packed with white, black, gunmetal, grey, and charcoal holo glitters.

It is opaque in three coats. If you prefer less glitter, it can be layered over a base coat of white or pale blue as well."

(The blue bits are from another GITD polish I had on right before this one!)


For the GITD pictures I used three coats and charged it with a LED nail lamp!
The first photo was taken with my camera (shows the glow better but it's blurry)
and the second and third with my phone.

This trio is so much fun! Though I have to say Redrum is my favorite! I just love blood reds! And The Worst Witch is so unique, really they are all winners!

At first I didn't realize Rosemary's Baby Blues was a GITD polish so I swatched it again with 3 coats instead of two but I prefer it with two or layered. With three coats it gets a bit thick. The glow is great!
Rosemary's Baby Blues is a little bit streaky on the first coat but evens it'self out nicely with a second thicker coat.
All three applied very easily, and the glitters in all three dispersed so easy, I didn't even give glitter placement a thought! 


I love Halloween collections! They are my favorite Holiday Collections!

Electric Salamander - Three coats.

"Electric Salamander consists of a pale shimmer-packed green-gray base with glitters in lavender, light and dark green, and bright electric neon blue. The aforementioned shimmer in the base is made up of blue, purple, and pink sparkles. It's typically opaque in two or three coats, depending on your nails."


Little Edie in the Grey Gardens - Two coats.

"Little Edie in the Grey Gardens is a homage to that greatest of cult-classic documentaries, Grey Gardens. It starts with a soft grey base filled with matte glitters in pastel yellow, coral, and lavender as well as metallic chartreuse and pink. It features light green shimmer highlights, which come out to play in certain lights. It's typically opaque in two or three coats, depending on your nails."


Owls of Outrage - Three coats.

"Owls of Outrage! It starts with a shimmery blackened plum wine base, which is packed with glitters in grey, teal, rose, holo violet, and purple. It's completely opaque in two or three coats."



Paranoid Android - Two coats.

"Paranoid Android is a vibrant, perfectly-perfect sky blue jelly. It boasts a subtle shimmer, and is packed with glitters in neon coral, dark plum, sky blue, and gunmetal silver. It's typically opaque in two or three coats, depending on your nails."


Valley of the Dolls - Two coats.

"Valley of the Dolls is a juicy strawberry hued pink-red. It features an especially shimmery base with dazzling silver highlights. It contains glitter in matte grey, gunmetal silver, rose, and lavender. It's semi-opaque but can be built up opaque in 2 or three coats depending on your nails. It also looks great layered over other polishes."


Wyld Stallyns - Two coats.

"Wyld Stallyns is just the sort of polish the Princesses would have worn when rocking out with Bill and Ted. A vibrant violet-leaning purple base with copper and pink shimmer, filled with glitters in different shapes and sizes in purple, blue, chartreuse, silvery white, neon pink, and pale blue."

This entire collection is just beautiful! Seriously, I'm very impressed!

I want to choose favorites but they are all stunning, I think Owls of Outrage is at the to of the list though! It's breath taking! Even prettier in person I swear! Wyld Stallyns and Little Edie in the Grey Gardens are way up there too! I don't own anything like Little Edie in the Grey Gardens! All six polishes had terrific formulas and applied easily.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish LE Love Letter to Kurt Vonnegut - Swatches & Review!

Hey all! I'm really excited to share today's post with you! It is featuring Scofflaw, a relatively new impressive indie brand that has unhesitatingly created some really amazing, unique shades from the get go!
Today's post is showing you the new Limited Edition shade Love Letter to Kurt Vonnegut.
There is a very limited number of bottles and it will not be recreated in the future.

"Factoid: Besides being the greatest American author of the 21st century (I will fight you on this) he also survived the firebombing of Dresden in 1944 only to be sent home with frostbite in 1945. He won a Purple Heart for having frostbite (as he told it)."

Love Letter to Kurt Vonnegut
"Love Letter To Kurt Vonnegut consists of a periwinkle blue base with blue and delicate silver flakes that glint and shimmer as well as periwinkle, midnight blue, and light holo micro glitter. For added dimension, it also contains ice blue and purple sparkling highlights that catch in the light. Being a limited edition, it features a special label with the polish name featured prominently, as well as Vonnegut's 'asterisk'."

There is a very limited number of bottles and it will not be recreated in the future.
I applied two easy coats for the photos. This polish is just amazing, a wonderful formula with terrific coverage and dispersion. It is very delicately complex and remarkably stunning.

Sorry for all of the pictures, I promise I tried to narrow it down even more! This polish is just so phenomenal and completely unique in my collection I just had to post a lot of photos!! Seriously, do yourself a favor and open the macro in a new tab and look at it larger!

I'm very impressed with Scofflaw so far and I have no doubt that we will keep seeing amazing creations from her!
