Pure Ice Fang or Fur Collection Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Sorry for taking a couple days off from blogging, I've been trying to catch up on cropping pictures  and looking for a new place to live/move! My husband got offered a job in Kansas City!
But I promise during the move I will try to keep up with blogging as much as I can. :)
It's only a two hour move so it's not going to be too bad!

Anywho, Today's post is the Pure Ice Fang or Fur Collection.
Pure Ice Fang or Fur Collection Pure Ice Fang or Fur (1)
(L-R) Alter Ego, Getting Gorgeous, Glass of Bordeaux, Nude Beach, & Silver Living.
Pure Ice Alter Ego (7) Pure Ice Alter Ego (2) Pure Ice Alter Ego (12)
Alter Ego
"Rich coffee brown with copper microglitter and silver small shard flakes"

Alter Ego is my favorite out of this collection! I have really been loving browns lately.
I love the complexity of this, and the formula was fantastic. Remarkable especially for the price.
Two coats for full opacity.
Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous (4) Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous (5) Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous (1) Pure Ice Getting Gorgeous (7)
Getting Gorgeous
"Blue with purple and blue Iridescent microglitter"

Getting Gorgeous can be opaque in two coats, I prefer three though.
It applies very evenly. The first coat is very sheer, but builds up nicely.
Not the most unique polish out there but certainly is pretty. It reminds me of
Sally Hansen-Laser/Orly-Lunar Eclipse/Color Club-Total Mystery/Opi Ds Magic.
Pictures on nail wheel over a coat of black polish.
Pure Ice Glass of Bordeaux (9) Pure Ice Glass of Bordeaux (6) Pure Ice Glass of Bordeaux (8)
Glass of Bordeaux
"Sheer black with blood red microglitter"

I used three coats of Glass of Bordeaux above, but I think it could easily be opaque in two.
The formula was exceptional and applied like a dream!
It's like Deborah Lippmann-Ruby Red Slippers without the hex and with finer glitter.
Pure Ice Nude Beach (5) Pure Ice Nude Beach (2) Pure Ice Nude Beach (3)
Nude Beach
"Perfect nude with pearl shine and creme finish"

I used two coats of Nude Beach above for full opacity.
This is a great mannequin hands polish shade. Not perfect for my skin tone, but it doesn't look bad on me.
I like the subtle pearl, it makes it not look flat and boring.
The formula was a little thick but it still applied easily, I just used thicker coats than I usually prefer.
Pure Ice Silver Lining (4) Pure Ice Silver Lining (2) Pure Ice Silver Lining (1)
Silver Lining
"Clear polish with silver glitter and silver diamond large shard flakes"

I added one coat of Silver Lining to Glass of Bordeaux.
I did have to fish a little bit for the large shards of glitter but it applied well.

Happy Hands Nail Polish Cult Favorites Collection Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is the new Happy Hands Nail Polish Cult Favorites Collection!
I'm so excited to show you these lovelies!
This is kind of picture heavy.. they are just so pretty!
Happy Hands Nail Polish Cult Favorites Collection (3) Happy Hands Nail Polish Cult Favorites Collection (4)
(R-L) El Duderino, Black Mamba, I Am Jack's Broken Heart, & Lady Goodman.

Happy Hands Cult Favorites
Happy Hands El Duderino (1)
Happy Hands El Duderino (2)
El Duderino
"A red jelly with golden red shimmer, holographic orange, garnet, and red squares."

For the two photos above I used three thin coats of El Duderino followed by topcoat.
Though it was physically smooth pictures made it appear a bit bumpy, so I also took photos of it layered.
I'm not a huge red fan, but this is such an amazing one, it reminds me of Strawberries!
There is so much awesome glitter in this polish but the formula still glides on evenly, and reminds a good consistency.
Happy Hands El Duderino Layered (2)
Happy Hands El Duderino Layered (1)Happy Hands El Duderino Layered (4)
Here is El Duderino again, but this time two thin coats layered on top of Cult Nails Evil Queen.
I prefer it layered, but it it nice that it builds up if you'd like it to.

Happy Hands Black Mamba (1)
Happy Hands Black Mamba (2)
Black Mamba
"A glitter topcoat with red shreds, yellow squares, and holographic silver swords."

I layered two coats of Black Mamba over China Glaze Ingrid. This polish is pretty much fall in a bottle!
I would love to see this over a pumpkin pie orange! I couldn't find one in my stash :[
The formula was fairly easy to work with, far from difficult but it requires careful application due to the shards of glitter.
Also it would be great for some sports fans. (Re: Redskins, Chiefs etc.)

Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart (3) Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart (2)
I Am Jack's Broken Heart
"This is a bruise colored jelly with turquoise and purple squares & smaller glitter, and purple shimmer. Caution: this one has a strong smell!"

The above pictures are I am Jack's Broken Heart  on it's own, three thin coats.
I also prefer this one layered as well, but it is gorgeous both ways!Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart Layered (5) Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart Layered (4) Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart Layered (3) Happy Hands I Am Jack's Broken Heart Layered (2)
I am Jack's Broken Heart layered over Zoya Anja.

This is my favorite of the four, I love purples so much and this one is so luscious.
If you can only purchase one, this would be my choice.

Happy Hands Lady Goodman (2) Happy Hands Lady Goodman (4)
Lady Goodman
"A soft lavender jelly with holographic pink, gold, and holographic purple glitter."

I used three coats of Lady Goodman for full opacity. It's so pretty and delicate <3
Went on like a dream! The glitter was suspended and dispersed very well.

*About the smell warning. On Etsy Kristi has a "Caution: this one has a strong smell!" under I am Jack's Broken Heart. Yes this does smell pretty darn strong. Possibly stronger than any other polishes I have used.I personally do not mind it, but for those with sensitive noses, this is stronger than Seche Vite or Kleancolor. Bare that in mind if you order. I think it is worth the smell though and I don't mind.*

I hope you guys enjoyed these as much as me!
Which one(s) are catching your eye?

Pretty and Polished- Pretty As A Peacock Swatches & Review

Hello all of you polished pretties! I have another Pretty and Polished post for you today!
I just have one polish to show you today-but it sure is a gorgeous one.

Take a look at this bottle shot macro below! *drool*

Absolutely breathtaking!!
Pretty and Polished Pretty As A Peacock (2)
Pretty and Polished Pretty As A Peacock (4)
Pretty As A Peacock"A dark emerald green base and is packed with blue, teal, purple, and green glitters."

I decided to layer two thin coats over Nicole By Opi-Khloe Had A Little Lam Lam.
I tried it on it's own and it builds up nicely, but I felt like the shimmer got overpowered by all of the coats.
The formula on this is very smooth and the glitter goes on and spreads out very easily.

I love that it is opaque enough to build up if you'd like it to, but it is also sheer enough to layer.
(Example picture shown further into this post.)

Here is one thin coat over a black, purple and a nude polish.
I love that it is so versatile.

Part of the Pretty and Polished Christmas Collection! Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Today's post is part of Chels, of Pretty and Polished's new Christmas Collection!

Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (1) Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (2) Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (5)
Love Always, Candy Cain
"Love Always, Candy Cain is a tasty love letter of a polish. Sweet and enticing. You will find several shapes and sizes of white and red glitters in this clear base. No fishing required for these chunks of glitter."

I layered two coats of Love Always, Candy Cain over China Glaze-Glittering Garland.
I love this combo! Great polish, it went on easy without having to fish for glitter!
Plus you can layer it over pink for Valentine's, or blue for the Fourth!

Pretty and Polished Everybody Loves Penguin (2) Pretty and Polished Everybody Loves Penguin (3)
Everybody Loves Penguin
"This cute little guy is a crelly (creme/jelly) base filled with black and yellow hex glitters. You can make this opaque with 2-3 layers or layer it over a crisp white polish to conserve the beauty in a bottle. "

I used three coats of Everybody Loves Penguin here.
The formula was surprisingly easy! Went on very smooth. This polish kind of reminds me of eggs with giant pieces of pepper! LOL Maybe I'm hungry? The bubbles were due to my topcoat.

Pretty and Polished Island of Misfit Toys (2) Pretty and Polished Island of Misfit Toys (3)
Island of Misfit Toys
"Island of Misfit Toys is gorgeous glitter topper with a plethora of shapes, sizes, colors, and finishes. This represents all of those amazing toys we have lost or forgotten over the years. "

I layered one coat, and a little dabbing over China Glaze-Pelican Grey.
I love the combination of colors, and shapes on glitter in this!
Sorry this swatch isn't quite up to par. When I dabbed the glitter on it smeared somewhat.
