My favorite from this collection is You down with PnP, Ya you know me.I just love that murky grey/green base and the blue and green glitters pop in it!I Don't Think You're Ready For This Crelly is a little tough,
the base is perfect it applies so smooth and nice but the glitters were a bit sparse
so if you dislike placing glitters or fishing I might skip that one.

I suggest two coats of topcoat for Nails Up & Touch the Sky,
the glitters are a little chunky so two coats helps smooth it out.
And with This is F$@#ing‬ Awesome I did a bit of dabbing but it was very minimal,
Overall this collection has good application & formulation & I love the variety in this collection!

Pretty and Polished Cuttlefish - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is a super fun one! It's my very first thermal nail polish ever!!
PnP

Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (2)
Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (3) Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (5)
Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (7) Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (6) Pretty & Polished Cuttlefish (10)
Cuttlefish
"Cuttlefish are marine animals of the order Sepiida. Though a true cuttlefish is usually change from red, yellow, brown, and black this polish was created to more so represent the world around a cuttlefish!
You will find that this lovely creamy glitter polish will turn from a beautiful teal blue to a white or lighter teal depending on the temperature of your body and your surroundings. "
Ahh so pretty! So this polish is a gorgeous teal while cold, and white or a very very light teal while warm!
I just love this SO much.
This is my first ever Thermal polish and it is just way too fun! I really don't want to remove it but I must :*(
This polish makes me a better wife, because it makes doing dishes fun LOL
I also love it because it remind me of fishing in WoW, hehe.

The formula on this was kind of difficult, pretty thick and the glitter clumped a bit.
Could just be my bottle though because other reviews I have seen don't mention it, or maybe all thermals are a bit thicker *dunno* IMHO the formula is completely worth this freaking cool polish though!
I may just add a drop or two of thinner and it'll be good to go!
(Is thinner okay to be added into thermal polishes? Anyone know?)

Hello all, Happy Tuesday!
Today I have Pretty & Polished Pinkie Pie for you!
PrettynPolished

Pinkie Pie
"Pinkie Pie is our sweet nail polish. She is packed full of love, sweetness, and pink!
This polish was released last year as an LE Valentine's Day shade and it is back again this year! This will only be available in limited amounts and for a limited time so get it while you can!"

I decided to layer Pinkie Pie over Zoya Jacy.
I'm glad i did because I think they look amazing together! Bit I also think that Pinkie Pie would look fab over a variety of colors and polishes. I used one coat over Jacy.
PP didn't require any dabbing or extra work, it just went on nice and even!

And on another quick note I started making a Google Doc for nail polish brands and their fonts!
You may have noticed recently I started making the glittery filled fonts like above, and I think it's really fun! (What do you guys think?) So I thought there should be a mass doc with the information!
Please feel free to add any brands that aren't listed and if you know any of the fonts please add them! Link below!

Pretty and Polished Pink Cupcake Cuticle Balm Review!

Hello my lovelies! Today I have a pretty new product to show you!
A cuticle butter from Pretty and Polished
So lets jump into it, shall we?
IMG_6260 IMG_6261
IMG_6259
Ingredients for Pink Cupcake Balms:
Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil, Avocado Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil,  Beeswax, Fragrance
ALLERGY WARNING: THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS TREE NUT BY-PRODUCTS

The packaging is just for the sample I received, when you purchase this
product it looks different, you can see it on the listing here!

She also has adorable P&P logo'd emery boards but my daughter stole mine and broke it on accident before I managed to tale a photo of it :(

I don't really feel that it smells particularly cupcake-y, but it does have a very sweet scent.
A little bit too sweet for my nose (I'm sensitive to smells, I don't wear perfume for the same reasoning.)
But the fact that it works well and is a wonderful price makes it more than bearable for me!
Plus the smell doesn't linger very long, or maybe I just get used to it quickly..Nevertheless I don't notice the smell except when and for a few minutes right after I apply it.

I love that this has coconut oil in it! It is something that I love and use all the time for all sorts of things!
With one of them being my cuticles! It reminds me of coconut oil when I apply it, having the same low melting point and thins out from a solid balm to a oily form.
But it is even better! It is thicker and feels more moisturizing. And it does take so long for it all to absorb, you can clearly feel it still but it doesn't get oil all over everything like plain old coconut oil.

It makes my skin feel moisturized and very silky!
You really get a big bang for you buck, this will last you a very long time.
I have been using this balm for a little over a month now and I definitely recommend it!
Point blank, I do actually plan to purchase this when I run out!
I like to have cuticle care products all over the place and this is a great one.

You can purchase this product, along with Pretty and Polished Polishes from Chels Etsy shop and website.
The cuticle balm costs $9.00 for 1 oz, or $5.00 for .5 oz.

Keep up with P&P on Chels BlogFacebookTwitter, and Instagram!

Pretty and Polished also has some other new skincare products available such as Triple Whip Hand Cream and Cuticle Oil in roller ball packaging!

*Whew* Man It didn't seem like I wrote so much until I looked when I was done! Sorry for the babbling!

Pretty and Polished- Pretty As A Peacock Swatches & Review

Hello all of you polished pretties! I have another Pretty and Polished post for you today!
I just have one polish to show you today-but it sure is a gorgeous one.

Take a look at this bottle shot macro below! *drool*

Absolutely breathtaking!!
Pretty and Polished Pretty As A Peacock (2)
Pretty and Polished Pretty As A Peacock (4)
Pretty As A Peacock"A dark emerald green base and is packed with blue, teal, purple, and green glitters."

I decided to layer two thin coats over Nicole By Opi-Khloe Had A Little Lam Lam.
I tried it on it's own and it builds up nicely, but I felt like the shimmer got overpowered by all of the coats.
The formula on this is very smooth and the glitter goes on and spreads out very easily.

I love that it is opaque enough to build up if you'd like it to, but it is also sheer enough to layer.
(Example picture shown further into this post.)

Here is one thin coat over a black, purple and a nude polish.
I love that it is so versatile.

Part of the Pretty and Polished Christmas Collection! Swatches & Review

Hey guys! Today's post is part of Chels, of Pretty and Polished's new Christmas Collection!

Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (1) Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (2) Pretty and Polished Love Always, Candy Cain (5)
Love Always, Candy Cain
"Love Always, Candy Cain is a tasty love letter of a polish. Sweet and enticing. You will find several shapes and sizes of white and red glitters in this clear base. No fishing required for these chunks of glitter."

I layered two coats of Love Always, Candy Cain over China Glaze-Glittering Garland.
I love this combo! Great polish, it went on easy without having to fish for glitter!
Plus you can layer it over pink for Valentine's, or blue for the Fourth!

Pretty and Polished Everybody Loves Penguin (2) Pretty and Polished Everybody Loves Penguin (3)
Everybody Loves Penguin
"This cute little guy is a crelly (creme/jelly) base filled with black and yellow hex glitters. You can make this opaque with 2-3 layers or layer it over a crisp white polish to conserve the beauty in a bottle. "

I used three coats of Everybody Loves Penguin here.
The formula was surprisingly easy! Went on very smooth. This polish kind of reminds me of eggs with giant pieces of pepper! LOL Maybe I'm hungry? The bubbles were due to my topcoat.

Pretty and Polished Island of Misfit Toys (2) Pretty and Polished Island of Misfit Toys (3)
Island of Misfit Toys
"Island of Misfit Toys is gorgeous glitter topper with a plethora of shapes, sizes, colors, and finishes. This represents all of those amazing toys we have lost or forgotten over the years. "

I layered one coat, and a little dabbing over China Glaze-Pelican Grey.
I love the combination of colors, and shapes on glitter in this!
Sorry this swatch isn't quite up to par. When I dabbed the glitter on it smeared somewhat.

Pretty and Polished Election Day (3)
Pretty and Polished Election Day (4)
Election Day
Election Day is a glitter topcoat with white stars, white bar glitter, medium blue hexes, red squares and red micro glitter.
There's also small bar glitter, but I'm not exactly sure of the color it looks like they are light blue and holo.

I layered one coat, plus a bit dabbing onto two coats of Revlon-Royal.
The formula is great, and super easy to work with.
