Concrete Minerals Pro Matte Eyeshadow Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a stellar weekend! Nothing crazy here lol

I can't wait until Thursday though! That's when I get my new laptop!

This one is seriously in horrid condition! The screen won't even stand up on it's own, it is leaned up against a pillow as I type! lmao.

Anyway! Here is a post for fellow makeup lovers out there! 

I've really been wanting to try Concrete Minerals for a while now and I finally caved recently!

I'm so glad I did! I decided to try four of the Pro Matte Eyeshadows, since I have a lot less matte shadows than I would like!

The colors I chose: Toxic, Domino, Queen & Bruise.

 

 

The pots are huge! The 10 gram pots are packed with 2.5 grams of product!

I swatched these over the Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer. (Pictured Below)

Sorry it is a little messy, I cleaned in between them with a q-tip and makeup remover so that's the reasoning for the "bleeding" there. Still learning how to attempt makeup swatches! Patience my friends! Learn I will. :)

 Here is the eye look I did with all four! I love it so much! <3

Products used & where I used them below!

I used my 239 brush to pack Toxic onto my inner corner.
Then I packed Domino on right next to it. More Domino got covered than I wanted :(
I used my Mac 217 & Sigma E45 to blend Queen in my crease.
I used my 239 again to pack on some Bruise, then used my E45 to blend it into my crease.
I used my Sigma E05 (damp) to apply Bruise like eyeliner.
I used Bruise, Queen & Domino on my lower lash line with the E05 as well.

And I used BFTE Very vanilla as my highlight.

Primer: Concrete Minerals Electric Eye Primer.
Mascara: Guerlain Noir G Deluxe Sample on upper lashes,
Mac Zoom Lash-Blue Charge on lower lashes.
Eyeliner:Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes- Matte Black
Brows: Illamasqua Brow Cake-Thunder & Anastasia clear brow gel.

* Note *
I really had a hard time blending Queen into my crease with my Mac 217 brush,
Which typically is my go to blending brush. I thought that maybe it was the shade, or that I just can't blend matte eyeshadows worth a damn..until I tried to with my Sigma E45 (Tapered Blending Brush)
WHAT a difference! I think it's because the E45 has much softer bristles than the 217.
but if this happens to you-Give them a shot with another brush! I am so glad I did before I posted this!

*This is only a review for the shadows*
I have only used the Primer once so I cannot conclusively say anything about the wear yet really.
 I do know that after 8 hours I still had no creasing, but again I've only worn it once.

It has tiny little sparkles in it but they don't interfere with the colors whatsoever.

Seems like this will last a long time! Really good amount of product. (.35 oz)

Anastasia See And Be Seen Kit-Swatches & Review!

Hey Guys! Can you believe that is is almost July?! I really can't D: 

Today I have a Review for you all! It is the See And Be Seen Kit from Anastasia  Beverly Hills!

This kit retails for $44.00 (an $80.00 value!) It includes
1-Full size Eyeshadow duo
1-Full Size Tinted Brow Gel
2 Full Size-Hydrafull lipglosses!
(The glosses are exclusive-You can only get these two colors from this kit!)

The packaging is so cute! <3

Eyeshadow Duo-On Set. I love that this has a mirror in it, and I like the packaging it is sleek and pretty but still easy to open.

Quick swatch over primer, seriously only ONE swipe of each! They are velvety and very pigmented!
The left shade is a Champagne-y shimmer, and the right shade is a Copper-y shimmer.

  

This is the Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel. I love Anastasia brow gels! This is the first time for me using the tinted one, I really love it but It isn't the *perfect* color for my brows. It gives my brows a golden sheen and has some sparkle. :) The only small issue is that I wish it didn't pull out so much product, but that is always an issue for me with all mascaras and such. I just scrape some back into the tube!
The gel has botanical hair conditioner and essential oils in the formula. There are five available shades.

These are the two Hydrafull Lipglosses! Plastic and Heiress. They stain a bit but I actually like that, when the product comes off you still have the pretty color left. Heiress has some micro glitter but it's hard to notice int he photos, more noticeable in person but it's very subtle.
The wand is kinda funky, it's bendy and flat it's easy to control how much product you use but kind of hard to apply it neatly. The colors are gorgeous and last wonderfully!
The gloss also has Jajobo oil, Shea Butter and Anastasia's Balkan Botanical Infusion.

Today's EOTD! It matches my Gradient Mani!

Hey guys! I was playing with my new Sleek makeup Palette and came up with this!
It wasn't until I looked at my blog that I realized it matches the mani I still have on! Doh! hehe
No wonder the color combo came to me so easily :P

I used my new Sleek Ultra Matte i-Divine V1 Bright Palette!

The Bright blue is Bolt, it's in my inner corner and under my lower lash line over Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner-Electric.

The crease has Bolt Mixed with Sugarlite (a bright purple) And then Pow! is the highlight.

I REALLY messed up the eyeliner, stupid blinking :P 

I seriously suck at liquid eyeliner, but hey A for effort right?...Right? :)

The liquid liner is Kat Von D Tattoo eyeliner. Mascara Bare Essentaisl Buxom Lash

FOTD/EOTD & Yesterday's NOTD but Matte! =]

:) Well I stayed up too late last night and now I can't sleep! So I decided to play with some makeup!

 These two close up's kind of wash it out a bit, but most the ones I took only had half my eye haha! Still learning to take makeup pictures I'd afraid!

I was bored and figured I'd swatch the stuff I used lol

 (L-R) Mac Kissable Lipgloss-Flaunting It, Illamasqua Brow Cake-Well.. the label doesn't say, that's odd I believe it is Thunder though..,Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner-Perversion, Maybelline Color Tattoo-Bold Gold, UD-Skimp, UD-Mushroom, UD-Bender, UD-Cobra, Sugarpill- Goldlux, Wet n wild Blush-Mellow Wine.

First I covered my lid with TooFaced-Shadow Insurance, and then covered it with Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. I patted a tiny Bit of Sugarpill-Goldilux into my inner corners.
After that I used UD-Mushroom in my crease, then deeped it with UD-Cobra.
Added a tiny bit of UD-Bender into the crease but you can't see it in the pictures.
Highlighted with UD-Skimp, Filled in my brows, I used Urban Decay's Supercurl curling mascara (I used a lot of Urban Decay, trying out my new book of shadows!)
Smashbox limitless eyeliner on onyx on my lower waterline.
I used Missha BB Cream in #21 with my Sigma flat top kabuki brush.
Applied the blush with my Mac 186SE (Christmas mini version)

Annnddd That pretty much sums it up lol!
And of course, it wouldn't be complete without a silly face photo.

3/11 EOTD, Some Sugar Pill Swatches, and some sillyness too!

Hey guys, I have been feeling depressed lately and been slacking on the blog front, my nails are naked D:
But here was my makeup from yesterday! The first eye pics are horrible quality (cellphone) But was right after I did them, the rest are from 8-9 hours later including a nap, so it does look less than perfect lol.
I got some Sugar Pill and love it though!

Here are quick swatches of the colors I used in this look!

The White is the only non Sugar Pill color!
(L-R):Fyrinnae-Marshmellow Puffs, SP Darling, Absinthe, Tipsy, & Junebug.

The bottom inner corner and well all of it looked better right after, I cleaned up the inner corner with a wet wipe prior to the better quality pics. But I usually don't even have time to put on makeup before my daughter wakes up and I didn't have time for photos then : / Sorry!

Okay and here is some real fun haha, to me atleast! The other night I just couldn't go to bed, I was waiting on my ambien to kick in (which I Obviously haven't taken yet or I'd be in bed!!)
But anyway I decided to play with makeup I effed up my line from blinking and just went fuck it and started fooling around. Somehow I ended up with butterfly eyes LOL Yeah ambien makes me do weird things..
I wouldn't ever wear this out (maybe halloween but yeah!) I thought it was fun and wanted to share :)

 Oops before I had mascara and lashes on! Btw this was my first time EVER putting on and wearing false lashes, I didn't have tweezers to use and they were coming off a bit and a little too long but you live and you learn right? I'd had them for months and was like what the hell!

LOL I felt like a fairy or something I put blush on my forehead trying to get it to match my other eye I guess?

And then glitter! No upcloses of the pink eye, because I didn't like the turn out! T
hese were all SP colors too, Mostly Birthday girl & Magnetric on the pink eye, Royal sugar on the blue! Tiara  in the inner corners.

 Yeah I know I'm weird, and because it wouldn't feel complete without one, here is a picture of me crossing one eye! So fun! I'm silly and don't take myself too seriously, encase you didn't know :)

LOL Okay I am off to sleep, I hope you guys enjoy some of this post! At least get a laugh out of it haha!
