A Few Random Swatches!

Hi guys! Today's post is just a couple random swatches I have sitting on my computer that I don't
think I  have posted yet..because I've been a bit busy and lazy about editing pictures!

Good news about my tooth! I didn't need a root canal! But I do have to get my wisdom teeth removed.
They have excess gum around them (Operculum) and apparently it is infected (Pericoronitis) by my lower left one and this is going to keep happening until they are removed. So I have to clean it super good with a syringe thing twice a day and take antibiotics and use this prescription mouthwash until we have some spare cash for the surgery! It blows because I kind of like have them lol My husband says in inside of my mouth looks unnatural because I have SO many teeth haha
(I still have all four of mine and they are mostly grown in.) It still hurts but it's very mild next to how bad it was.

Also some more good news, it looks like the sellers are willing to pay for the roof to be replaced!
We will find out everything they are willing to cover on Sunday (Our Realtor is out of town atm!) SO YAY!

And Skylar's party Yesterday was a blast!
This is her and her new 3DS!  :)

Okay, okay..onto nail polishes!

Unfortunately I didn't write down how many coats I used with each of these but my guess would be
two coats for Smash and three thin coats for Pic de Sotllo and Gift Wrap!

I hope you all have a great weekend!! <3

I named the ones I could!

Pretty good here! We found a house we like finally! We have been house hunting off and on for six months, but we found a house we love and put in a offer, got a counter off and accepted it.

Hi guys! Today's post is a really exciting one for me! I have seven polishes from Polished by KPT to show you!
I've been lemming for this brand for quite some time now! Check out my thoughts below!

*Products in this post were sent to me for the purpose of a 100% honest unbiased review.*

Polished by KPT Fireflies (2) Polished by KPT Fireflies (1)
Fireflies - One coat over Sinful Colors Sinful Shine Amazonian

"Fireflies is jammed packed with micro silver holographic, micro holo bars, yellow holo bars, purple holo bars, and silver holo bars."

Polished by KPT Glowing Smardy (1)

The other half of the Smardy Duo, a Glow in the Dark glitter topper that represents hope in a dark place.

Polished by KPT High Maintenance (1)
High Maintenance - One coat over China Glaze Urban Night.

"A mixture of girly matte pastel colors and iridescent glitters in a clear base."

Polished by KPT Glowing Smardy Glowing (2)
Polished by KPT Glowing Smardy Glowing (1)
Proof that Glowing Smardy glows! I'm not good at taking GITD pictures lol it took me quite some time
to go through the settings on my camera to find one that worked okay, then I took one with my
cellphone and that was much easier lol!

_______________________________________________________

I'll start off with Glowing Smardy, the glow on this polish was
unparalleled to any other GITD polish I have tried or own. I don't own many but the others required much longer "charges" and it fade quicker.

Glowing Smardy glows when it's not even that dark!
I wore it for days with and it kept glowing night after night without a recharge - my daughter loved it!
If you want to really see this baby glow charge it with a LED nail light! That's what I did for the top picture, I didn't edit it it really was that bright! I could literally use my nails to see in the dark. Needless to say I lovee it!

And I love that a portion of the money goes to a good cause, 50% of the proceeds from the Smardy Duo go to an adorable little boy named Nate's
fund at the DCipher Group to be used for medical expenses, therapy equipment, and donations to SMARD research. To read more about the Smardy Duo or Nate's Journey check out http://smardypants.blogspot.com/
The Smardy Duo will be restocked the first week of September.

I'm very impressed with PBKPT and highly recommend their polishes!
All of the formula's were very good, I had no issues applying any of these polishes.
Fireflies is so beautiful and so sparkly in person it's insane.
I love the mixture of micro bar glitters mixed with the larger ones!

Enchanted Polish Awesomeness & Seven Nation Army - Swatches & Review!

Hi all! Today's post is awesome! Featuring Enchanted Polish Awesomeness & Seven Nation Army.
I've wanted Awesomeness since the very second I saw it, and I have been lemming it for what feels like forever!

Enchanted Polish Awesomeness (3) Enchanted Polish Awesomeness (2)
Awesomeness - ONE COAT. Perfection /drool

I finally have it!! I'll just start this by saying if you love purples & holos - then you need this polish.
Awesomeness instantaneously became part of my Top 5 Purples! It's seriously incredible!
I believe it's discontinued, but if you ever get the chance JUMP on it!
It went on smooth and easy, ugh I can't even tell you how in love I am with this polish.

Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (1)
Seven Nation Army - One coat over Awesomeness.

Seven Nation Army is a sparse holographic glitter topper filled with white and black glitters.
It spread on very easily and has great coverage, it might even be able to build up if you wanted to.
I knew I wanted to see it on green right when I saw it!
But instead I decided on a gradient with green in it, so scroll down to see the gradient before & after SNA!

Gradient Nail Art (1)
Gradient Nail Art (2)
Gradient Mani (2)
Gradient Mani (1)
For this gradient I tried the painting on the sponge method vs dipping the sponge into polish (what I usually do)

This was my FA doing a gradient that way so it's not perfect but I really like it!
The colors I used are Illamasqua Rare & Nurture and Wet n Wild Fergie Miami Spirit & Havasu Blue.
Sorry for this post being picture heavy, for no real reason I wanted a picture with each bottle lol.

Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (3) Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (2)
Then I added one coat of Seven Nation Army on top! So Gorgeous!

_______________________________________________________

I don't have many Enchanted Polishes because they an be a little hard to get during restocks and
to some they are
pricey but I have nothing but good things to say about all the ones I have tried!
They have all been absolutely gorgeous with great formula's.
I wore Awesomeness for 4 days with fantastic wear, and even with only one coat!
If you haven't taken the leap but are wanting to try EP go for it! You won't be disappointed!

You can purchase Enchanted Polish from http://www.enchantedpolish.com/ for $15.00 ea.

Colorblock Mani Fail

Hey guys! So this mani was a bit fail-ish.
I had the base on before I knew what I wanted to try, if I re-did it I would alternate the base colors on the fingers so I would have more options for the color blocking patterns, but oh well!
Also I was very lazy and did it kind of half ass TBH lol. I wasn't 100% sure if my nails were fully dry so I didn't put the tape down good enough, so the lines aren't crisp or perfectly aligned..but I really like the colors together!

I was inspired by Sarah's Chalkboard Nails Tutorial, though I probably shame her with my crappy mani  LOL
It had potential but I didn't execute it well :)

I used Kbshimmer 24 Carrot Bold, Illamasqua Nomad & Jinide Nails sTEALth.
Colorblock Mani (1) Colorblock Mani (2)

& I mattified it with Butter London Matte Finish.
Colorblock Mani Matte (1) Colorblock Mani Matte (2)
I wish the lines were perfect :( I liked it matte so much.
It looked good.... from arm's length distance haha

I definitely want to use Nomad & 24 Carrot Bold together again!
Any idea of how they would look good together?

_______________________________________________________

As you can see I decided not to add the descriptions today. I felt they were just misleading.
They describe the shades as neon which they aren't, they are bright and gorgeous but just not neon.
Barielle has been releasing some really fantastic collections this year! Really gorgeous cremes.
The collections this year are already some of my favorite Barielle's!

This collection follows suit with a small exception, Magna Cum Laude Turquoise.
Mine was streaky which you can kind of see in the picture. I do believe a third coat would have taken care of the streaks and it wasn't horrible to apply. Just not the standard I hold for Barielle based on their other polishes.
Although I could have gotten a off bottle, other reviews seem fine.

I recommend doubling on base coat with it also, I had no staining but just to be safe.
And also while you're at it I would with Head of the Class Green as well.
It didn't stain my nails but it was a pain to get off my skin, so apply carefully and double up to be safe!

All of the other shades in this collection had impeccable formulas and applied super easy!
I'm loving Straight A Coral so much, I don't understand I used to hate corals but this year I love them!

Follow Barielle on Facebook and Twitter!

You can purchase Barielle Shades from their website.
They retail for $8.00 or  you can purchase this whole collection in a kit for $25.00.

I received my new nail art brushes and wanted to put them in use!
I tried my hand at a Tribal Manicure! I'm out of practice and despite the topcoat smearing I think it came out okay!
And really I need to find a better topcoat, I waited THREE hours before top coating in hopes to prevent smearing :(
Nope didn't help. Damn you SV. -_-

The base color is Illamasqua Load, and the black is Milani Black Swift. All the other colors are from this Barielle collection!
Tribal Mani (1)
& Mattified!

And of course I added Butter London Matte Finish.

Barielle Brillaint Colors Collage (1)

What are your thoughts on this collection? I love the colors they chose!
Also who watched True Blood? :)
