CND 2012 Special Edition SolarOil Review

Hello All!
Time has been running away from me lately, I can't believe it's almost been a week since I posted!
I am in Georgia, my home state visiting family at the moment. I went to my mothers wedding on the 12th!
It has been a good trip, though I am missing my other half - he had to stay home for work so me and Sky flew down.
I will be back home on Wednesday!

Today's post is for the CND Special Edition 2012 Solaroil.
The regular CND Solaroil is one of my staple manicure products!
I got a small sample of it once and it has been a perfect allegiance ever since.
CND Special Edition 2012 Solar Oil (2)
CND Special Edition 2012 Solar Oil (1) CND Special Edition 2012 Solar Oil (3)

The Special Edition Solaroil features a new fragrance of heliotrope, vanilla, and golden amber.
(Whereas the original Solaroil is scented like cherries with a hint of almond.)

Personally I do much prefer the original Solaroil scent.
The Special Edition Solaroil smells more perfume like and flowery than I anticipated.
It isn't overpowering and it doesn't linger too long so I still use it,
but it kind of makes me feel like I need to sneeze when I apply it.
But this is all coming from someone who doesn't wear perfume, I just have a pretty sensitive nose.
And I'm not fond of the majority of floral scents.
Even though it is floral you can pick up the hint of vanilla, so after it fades off a little I like it much more.

It works just as amazing and moisturizing as the original, and it really lasts a lot longer than you would expect.
I've been using this like crazy and I've only used about  10% of the bottle in a month.
And that is mostly due to trying to use it a lot for this review!

I try to use it daily around my nails and under them. I rub it in gently for about 20 seconds per nail.
If you haven't tried CND Solaroil yet I urge you to! Once I tried it I was hooked!

If you like flowery scents then this is for you,
But if you're like me and have a sensitive nose you might want to pass and stick with the original.

The Special Edition Solaroil is priced at $11.50 USD/$14.40 Canada.

Comic Newpaper Mani & Katy Perry Concert Pics! *Picture Heavy*

Hey Guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a bit, I have been slacking! My camera died during the concert, so I had to charge the battery, And I was very much dreading taking off my Katy Perry mani because all of those rhinestones! The concert by the way was AWESOME! She puts on a great show! We had a lot of fun! I got some cotton candy of course and they sell it on a freaking rainbow glowstick thing haha. I got some pretty great pics, at least to me considering how far we were, I have shaky hands but some turned out great! I am going to share a few below my mani pics!

Okay and for my mani I did a newspaper mani. basically a quick explanation for those who do not know what this is, You cut newspaper into small nail sized pieces & dip it into rubbing alcohol or vodka and just take the piece of paper right after you dip it and hold it against your nail for about 30-40 seconds.

I hope you guys can really get past the massive amount of errors and suckiness in these pics! My fingers are extremely dry atm from the acetone I had to use to get off the rhinestones and my nails were painted messy and not cleaned up well, but I am tired and heading to bed in a few and said f*ck it! My daughter went to bed much earlier than usual so I need to get to sleep, maybe I should have waited to post but :P

The Polish I used was Deborah Lippmann-Waking Up In Vegas. (2 coats)
 (What can I say, I'm still in a Katy Perry mood :D}
& Then I topped it off with CND Effects-Gold Sparkle!

Here are the Concert Pics!

Sorry for typing SO much! D: Off to bed I go! Click the pics of the concert though they look great bigger!

CND Blue & Purple Polka Dots!

For this Mani I used Wet n Wild- Black Creme, CND-Violet Shimmer & Ice Blue Shimmer!

Now My pics are kind of messy & I apologize for it! My nails got scratched up a bit I guess but it wasn't noticeable in person at all. I just painted them black and used a dotting tool to put the dots on em' :D

Hope everybody has a awesome day!

Also if you have any suggestions, questions, or anything you would like to see or me to post about I would love to hear about it in the comments below or in a email to Sarahmaye@gmail.com!
