Pastel Easter Gradient

Hi guys! I'm really excited about today's post! Which is a big deal since lately I just haven't been as excited about blogging, polish or anything really. I just couldn't wait to share my Easter manicure with you guys!

I really hope you guys like it as much as me! I think it's perfect :D I'm so obsessed with gradients lately.

Also my Blogiversary is coming up on the 22nd! I really wanted this year's giveaway to be on time but I haven't received everything for it yet, but hopefully it'll be up before the end of the month! I will keep you guys updated!

Pastel Gradient Easter Gradient (2) Easter Gradient (3)
For this gradient I used the sponge method (painting strips on polish onto the sponge and smushing it on the nails) I used the following colors over a white base.

Barielle - Banana Drop, Barielle -Pink Flip-Flops, Orly - Lollipop, Zoya - Blu, and Bondi - Lady Liberty.
Barely of  Lady Liberty even got on the nail though. I used too many colors lol!

After that I was trying to decide what to put on top, between China Glaze Fairy Dust,
Lynnderella Connect the Dots, Elevation Haba Xueshan or nail stamping. I chose Haba Xueshan!

Femme Fatale Cosmetics - Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Man it feels so weird that I haven't blogged in like two weeks, I definitely overestimated my ability to keep up blogging during a move and I apologize! But things are pretty settled now so I should get back in my groove soon :)

We've been settling into the new house and running in and out of Home Depot spending money on a bunch
of random house things! Blinds, door stops, a drill etc lol Little things sure add up! Still a lot more to get also D:
I painted my daughters room and did a pink to purple ombre/gradient wall! I'll post a picture of it at the end of this post!

Today's post is featuring four stunning polishes from Femme Fatale Cosmetics.
This is my first experience with their nail polishes but I have tried their eye shadows and love them!

Femme Fatale Ruby Hare
Ruby Hare - Two coats.

"A medium berry pink with subtle copper shine and liner holo."

KBShimmer Fall 2013 Collection - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! I hope your Thursday has been really great so far! Not much going on here, we caught a  bunny in the back yard! Just for a minute and we petted it, it was so sweet! Then we let it go, I tweeted a picture of it :)

Anywho! Today's post is the amazing KBShimmer 2013 Fall Collection!
I really love the variety in this collection, It is easily one of my favorite KBShimmer collections to date!

*Products in this post were sent to me for the purpose of a 100% honest unbiased review.*
KBShimmer 2013 Fall Collection Macros KBShimmer Every Nook & Cranberry
Every Nook & Cranberry - Three thin coats.
Application was a absolute breeze! Easy, smooth and even!
The shimmer is so visible and gorgeous!

"A cranberry satin matte polish with a subtle pink and gold shimmer.
This polish with its blue undertones is one that will work on many skin tones.  Best in two coats."

KBShimmer Every Nook and Cranberry with Topcoat
Every Nook & Cranberry + Topcoat.

KBShimmer Excuse Me I Blurped
Excuse Me, I Blurped - Three coats.
This polish is so freaking gorgeous! It applied great and has so much dimension!

"A shade not quite blue, not quite purple shade with glitters in many shades of blue, purple, with a hint of
 copper. Best in two coats."

KBShimmer Teal Another Tail (1) KBShimmer Teal Another Tail (2)
Teal Another Tail - Three thin coats.
TAT applied really well, two coats had some VNL for me so I used a third but it wasn't necessary.
This is such a unique and freaking stunning polish, just buy it! Seriously #drool

"A dusty teal green polish with a strong pink almost duo-chrome shimmer.
A color I imagine would be on a mermaid’s tail.  Best in two coats."

KBShimmer Turbulence (2)
Turbulence - Three thin coats.
Applies smoothly and evenly. A little sheer but builds up nicely.
I am a huge sucker for grey polish and the shimmer in this is to die for! One of my favorites!!

"A satin matte finish slate gray polish inspired by storm clouds.

Silver flakes are surrounded by micro blue and fuchsia sparks inspired by lightning and rain. Best in two coats. "

KBShimmer Turbulence with topcoat
Turbulence + Topcoat..

KBShimmer Vicious Circles
Vicious Circles - Three coats.
Jam packed full of glitter, requires a little patience and skill to apply but it's so worth it!
I love all the circle glitters!! It looks chunky but was completely smooth two two coats of topcoat.

"A blood red jelly loaded with silver holographic circles in two sizes, sliver holographic hex glitters
and holographic sliver micro slices.  Best in two or three coats."

KBShimmer You Autumn Know
You Autumn Know - Three coats.
Really glitter packed, apply slowly and make sure to let it dry in between coats!
This polish just screams fall doesn't it?? <3

"A white crelly polish loaded with fuchsia, gold, and orange glitters.  Micro bars accent the fall pallet of this polish.
Best in three coats, or two coats over white."

KBShimmer You Go Ghoul!
You Go Ghoul! - Three coats.
Just like You Autumn Know and Vicious Circles You Go Ghoul is packed full of glitter and requires a little more attention while applying, nothing too difficult, you just have to keep the glitters from bunching together.
So make sure to give these chunkier polishes proper time to dry in between coats to avoid dragging!

"This Halloween polish is one that you will wear year round.
A black jelly sparkles with glitters in grape, berry and orange for a polish even a witch would love
Best in two coats over black or three coats alone."

This Collection is amazing! The End.

Okay, just kidding! Not about it being amazing just about this being the end. :)

Where should I start? Hmm I'll start with the Mattes!
The matte/satin polishes in this collection are two of my favorites! At first I thought the formula on Turbulence wasn't great but it turned out it was just applying weird over
my Nail Tek II - Weird! But I tried it again and it went on smooth and easy, So that is good to know!

This collection is so creative and just plain out awesome, I really love it.
I haven't been this excited for a collection in a while!

This collection will be available for purchase on September 1st!
You can purchase these from
http://www.kbshimmer.com/ and Harlow and Co.

I felt that some of these needed a fourth coat, but I think that was primarily due to the mini bottles,
it's harder to get the polish out. But Jen is replacing them with medium 9mL bottles that are easier to use!
(See new bottles here)

I can't get over how much I LOVE Quit Staring at my Melons over Betinna Tulipani!
Such a epic combo! And Betty's Fetti Milkshake is perfect! I loved all of these polishes,

Fun Layering with Elevation Haba Xueshan and Huangshan!

Hey guys, I have a fun layering combo for you today!
I'm loving my new Elevation's and I've been playing with them up a storm! And I came up with this!
A Haba Xueshan & Huangsham glitter sammy!

Elevation Haba Xueshan and Huangshan Layering (1)

First I started off with Rimmel French Manicure Pro shade 140, French Rose.
I think I used two coats. Possibly one.
Then I added a coat of Huangshan, once dry I added a coat of Haba Xueshan.

Elevation Haba Xueshan and Huangshan Layering (2)

Then I decided to add another coat of French Rose to jelly sammy it :)

Elevation Haba Xueshan and Huangshan Layering (3)

Of course I decided to mattify it! I can't decide if I like it better shiny or matte!
I used
 Butter London's Matte Finish!

Elevation Layering

What do you guys think? I love nude colors with neon accents!

Hi all! Today's post is featuring GlitterDaze American Royalty!
And holy crap, I can't believe it is almost the Fourth of July! Where has the time gone?

GlitterDaze American Royalty

GlitterDaze American Royalty (1) GlitterDaze American Royalty (4) GlitterDaze American Royalty (2)
American Royalty - Three thin coats.

"Its that time of year again; backyard BBQs, pool parties, and get togethers.  Now you have the perfect patriotic polish to wear to all of these events! American Royalty is our little twist on the classic USA themed polishes; it has multiple shapes and sizes of red white and blue glitter in a light sky blue base as well as some gold accents to give it a little dash of class.
Apply three thin and even coats, top with a thick and glossy topcoat!"

GlitterDaze American Royalty Matte (3) GlitterDaze American Royalty Matte (4) GlitterDaze American Royalty Matte (1)
Mattified with Butter London's Matte Finish.
_______________________________________________________

I used three thin coats for American Royalty, there is SO much glitter in this polish!
Seriously my camera had a hard time focusing on it! I even had to re-swatch it!

Despite being so glitter packed it goes on pretty smoothly and easily. And no fishing needed.

There were some shardy bits that wanted to stick up a bit but nothing crazy.
Just use 2-3 coats of topcoat or buff the bits sticking out lightly and use a thick topcoat.
I really like how different AR is than all of the other "America inspired" polishes I own.

You can purchase GlitterDaze products from www.GlitterDazeNP.com

You can purchase this beauty for $11.00 for a 15mL full size polish, or $4.00 for a 4mL mini.

Digital Nails Galactica (2)
Galactica - one coat over A England Camelot.

"This gold and green beauty is made with color shifting glitter and goes from amber, to bright gold, to sea foam
depending on the angle at which it is viewed. The color shift effect works in any lighting, not just sunshine."

Digital Nails Galactica (1)
One coat over China Glaze Budding Romance.
Digital Nails Stars at Night (2) Digital Nails Stars at Night (1)
Stars at Night - Three coats.

"Stars at Night is a navy jelly polish with more spectraflair linear holographic pigment than you can shake a stick at.

It doesn't even need sunshine to scream OMG RAINBOWS, and those bad boys will pop out even in dim indoor lighting."

Digital Nails Timey Wimey (1)
Timey Wimey - One coat over Nubar Grape.

"Timey Wimey is an insane blend of purple, teal, aqua, chartreuse, hot orange-pink, & tangerine glitters, in a
multitude of shapes and sizes suspended in clear base specially designed to hold up lots of glitter.
This polish has shreds, HUGE dots, tiny holos - it's an explosion of sparkle."

Digital Nails Timey Wimey Jelly Sammy
Timey Wimey sandwiched between another coat of Nubar Grape.

All three of these polishes are wonderful, all of
Raphaelle's polishes I've tried have had terrific formulas!
Her glitter polishes disperse super easily and evenly without having to try which is nice!
Stars at night was a dream! I love it, I wore it for three whole days! Which for me is a long time :)
I love the Galactica and Budding Romance combination!

_______________________________________________________

These four glitter polishes are so pretty, and packed full of glitters, no fishing required at all!
They, like many glitter toppers with larger glitter do need 2 coats of topcoat.
Chicky Chicky Boom Boom is my favorite!
