Pastel Easter Gradient

Hi guys! I'm really excited about today's post! Which is a big deal since lately I just haven't been as excited about blogging, polish or anything really. I just couldn't wait to share my Easter manicure with you guys!

I really hope you guys like it as much as me! I think it's perfect :D I'm so obsessed with gradients lately.

Also my Blogiversary is coming up on the 22nd! I really wanted this year's giveaway to be on time but I haven't received everything for it yet, but hopefully it'll be up before the end of the month! I will keep you guys updated!

Pastel Gradient Easter Gradient (2) Easter Gradient (3)
For this gradient I used the sponge method (painting strips on polish onto the sponge and smushing it on the nails) I used the following colors over a white base.

Barielle - Banana Drop, Barielle -Pink Flip-Flops, Orly - Lollipop, Zoya - Blu, and Bondi - Lady Liberty.
Barely of  Lady Liberty even got on the nail though. I used too many colors lol!

After that I was trying to decide what to put on top, between China Glaze Fairy Dust,
Lynnderella Connect the Dots, Elevation Haba Xueshan or nail stamping. I chose Haba Xueshan!

Sinful Colors Holiday Tinsel & Glitter Topcoat - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! I hope you are all having a great weekend!
Today's post is featuring three of the Holiday Sinful Colors Tinsel & Glitter topcoat polishes!

Check them out below!

Sinful Colors Silver Rainbows
Silver Rainbows - One coat over Contrary Polish Fluorite.

Sinful Colors Spiked Ice
Spiked Ice -  One coat + dabbing over Contrary Polish Graphite.

Sinful Colors Top Me Off
Top Me Off - One coat over Contrary Polish Rainbow Hematite.
See my Contrary Polish On the Rocks Collection Review here.
______________________________________________________

I really love Top Me Off, it is definitely my favorite of the three! The formula went on easy and evenly.
Spiked Ice requires a little bit of dabbing to have a even coat but application wasn't too tricky.
I wish Silver Rainbows had more glitter in it though, the coverage is a little sparse.
Nothing an extra coat can't take care of though!

The Sinful Colors Holiday Tinsel and Glitter Topcoats are available for purchase exclusively at Walgreens for $1.99 each.

Be sure to stay up-to-date with Sinful Colors on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!

I felt that some of these needed a fourth coat, but I think that was primarily due to the mini bottles,
it's harder to get the polish out. But Jen is replacing them with medium 9mL bottles that are easier to use!
(See new bottles here)

I can't get over how much I LOVE Quit Staring at my Melons over Betinna Tulipani!
Such a epic combo! And Betty's Fetti Milkshake is perfect! I loved all of these polishes,
but those were my favorites! Followed by She Blinded me with Science :D

Milani Fantastical Plumage - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Before I get into today's post you should go check out the guest blog post I did over at Refined & Polished!!

And as for today, I have the Milani Fantastical Plumage Collection to show you all!

*Products in this post were sent to me for the purpose of a 100% honest unbiased review.*
Milani Scarlet Ibis
Scarlet Ibis - Three coats.

Milani Canary
Canary - Three coats.

Milani Peacock
Peacock - Three coats.

Milani Blue Jay
Blue Jay - Two coats.

Milani Purple Martin
Purple Martin - Two coats.

Milani Carnival
Carnival - One coat with dabbing/placing over Scarlet Ibis.

Milani Carnival (2)
Carnival - One coat with dabbing/placing over a Blue Jay, Peacock & Purple Martin watermarble.

_______________________________________________________

As you can see I tried  a watermarble for the first time in over a year!
I used a white base (Milani White on the Spot) and Blue Jay, Peacock and Purple Martin!
The bubbling was fromt he topcoat and I think also from placing the glitters.

Overall I think this is a very fun collection with great colors!
Blue Jay is my favorite because I'm a sucker for blues!
Purple Martin and Blue Jay had the best formula's but all the cremes are pretty and applied pretty good.
Some were a little streaky and I felt they required three coats, mostly Canary and that is common in yellows.

I would pass on Carnival though, it's a pain to apply and if you want a B&W glitter topper
I recommend Sprinkles from the Milani Retro Glam Collection instead!

You can purchase Milani polishes from http://www.milanicosmetics.com/
And at select CVS and Meijer during August!

Milani Retro Glam Collection - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is featuring six new Limited Edition Milani Nail Lacquers!
This is a really cute collection, it makes me think of spring!

Then I topped the gradient with one coat of Sprinkles.

Milani Creamy Pistachio

Milani Sprinkles (1)

Milani Almond Kiss
Almond Kiss - Three coats.

_______________________________________________________

Okay so this collection is really pretty and I love the colors they chose for it!
They make me want to do flower nail art with em!
All of them except for Sprinkles required three coats for me.

The formula's on Mint Chip and Raspberry Delight were the best of the cremes!
The other creams did go on pretty streaky, nothing that a third coat can't level out though.

I think it's definitely worth mentioning because some people can't apply nail polish very evenly.
Streaky polishes can exacerbate uneven application.

Sprinkles is so great! Even though I own quite a few B&W glitter polishes I just love this!
It had really great coverage with one coat (it may need a day here or there)
It applies great and looks good over any and all colors!

Enchanted Polish Awesomeness & Seven Nation Army - Swatches & Review!

Hi all! Today's post is awesome! Featuring Enchanted Polish Awesomeness & Seven Nation Army.
I've wanted Awesomeness since the very second I saw it, and I have been lemming it for what feels like forever!

Enchanted Polish Awesomeness (3) Enchanted Polish Awesomeness (2)
Awesomeness - ONE COAT. Perfection /drool

I finally have it!! I'll just start this by saying if you love purples & holos - then you need this polish.
Awesomeness instantaneously became part of my Top 5 Purples! It's seriously incredible!
I believe it's discontinued, but if you ever get the chance JUMP on it!
It went on smooth and easy, ugh I can't even tell you how in love I am with this polish.

Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (1)
Seven Nation Army - One coat over Awesomeness.

Seven Nation Army is a sparse holographic glitter topper filled with white and black glitters.
It spread on very easily and has great coverage, it might even be able to build up if you wanted to.
I knew I wanted to see it on green right when I saw it!
But instead I decided on a gradient with green in it, so scroll down to see the gradient before & after SNA!

Gradient Nail Art (1)
Gradient Nail Art (2)
Gradient Mani (2)
Gradient Mani (1)
For this gradient I tried the painting on the sponge method vs dipping the sponge into polish (what I usually do)

This was my FA doing a gradient that way so it's not perfect but I really like it!
The colors I used are Illamasqua Rare & Nurture and Wet n Wild Fergie Miami Spirit & Havasu Blue.
Sorry for this post being picture heavy, for no real reason I wanted a picture with each bottle lol.

Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (3) Enchanted Polish Seven Nation Army (2)
Then I added one coat of Seven Nation Army on top! So Gorgeous!

_______________________________________________________

I don't have many Enchanted Polishes because they an be a little hard to get during restocks and
to some they are
pricey but I have nothing but good things to say about all the ones I have tried!
They have all been absolutely gorgeous with great formula's.
I wore Awesomeness for 4 days with fantastic wear, and even with only one coat!
If you haven't taken the leap but are wanting to try EP go for it! You won't be disappointed!
