Pastel Easter Gradient

Hi guys! I'm really excited about today's post! Which is a big deal since lately I just haven't been as excited about blogging, polish or anything really. I just couldn't wait to share my Easter manicure with you guys!

I really hope you guys like it as much as me! I think it's perfect :D I'm so obsessed with gradients lately.

Also my Blogiversary is coming up on the 22nd! I really wanted this year's giveaway to be on time but I haven't received everything for it yet, but hopefully it'll be up before the end of the month! I will keep you guys updated!

Pastel Gradient Easter Gradient (2) Easter Gradient (3)
For this gradient I used the sponge method (painting strips on polish onto the sponge and smushing it on the nails) I used the following colors over a white base.

Barielle - Banana Drop, Barielle -Pink Flip-Flops, Orly - Lollipop, Zoya - Blu, and Bondi - Lady Liberty.
Barely of  Lady Liberty even got on the nail though. I used too many colors lol!

After that I was trying to decide what to put on top, between China Glaze Fairy Dust,
Lynnderella Connect the Dots, Elevation Haba Xueshan or nail stamping. I chose Haba Xueshan!

I felt that some of these needed a fourth coat, but I think that was primarily due to the mini bottles,
it's harder to get the polish out. But Jen is replacing them with medium 9mL bottles that are easier to use!
(See new bottles here)

I can't get over how much I LOVE Quit Staring at my Melons over Betinna Tulipani!
Such a epic combo! And Betty's Fetti Milkshake is perfect! I loved all of these polishes,
but those were my favorites! Followed by She Blinded me with Science :D

Naild'it Bad Hare Day (1) Naild'it Bad Hare Day (2)
Bad Hare Day
"a purple crelly with hint of lavender spark, and a variety of purple and white glitters. In case the Easter Hare has a bad Hair Day!"

Three thin coats. Easy formula, and very pretty. I love that it is a bit muted!
Naild'it Confetti Falls (1) Naild'it Confetti Falls (2)
Confetti Falls
"a multi color glitter bomb with holographic glitters galore, including stars."

Two thin coats over Cult Nails Let Me Fly.
This is really pretty! I love the color mix!

Lilac Electra
"a holographic purple tinted topper with a hint of purple/blue color-shift iridescent glitters! Its like a lilac bush with electricity running through it:)"

Three thin coats. Okay guys, holy shit is all I can say about this polish.
Let me state something here -I usually hate metallic polishes with glitters, this polish is magic because I love it against all odds! This is one of the most beautiful polish that I think I own.
My husband even noticed it and that really isn't common!
This is hands down my favorite in this entire collection (though I do like them all!)
Sorry there are so many pictures of it, what can I say I loveeee it! The formula was nice and smooth.
Naild'it Put a Ring on it (1) Naild'it Put a Ring on it (2)
Put a Ring On it
"a holographic silver and gold glitter bomb! With shapes of all kinds and glitters of all sizes! This one will shine just as much as those diamonds!"

Two thin coats over Cult Nails Flushed.
I couldn't capture how incredibly blingy this is in person! Gorgeous! I think this trumps all of my other gold glitter toppers! Formula was really good, glitter dispersed evenly.
Naild'it Orange You Purdy (2) Naild'it Orange You Purdy (1)
Orange You Purdy
"a glitter topper with neon orange, purple, neon pink and a variety of other glitters including iridescent color shift glitters."

One and a half coats over Nubar Kiwi.
This really only took one coat, but I did touch up a couple spots!
This is such a interesting combo..but I like it! It's so fruity :D

Darling Diva Polish Care Bear For a Crow, Glacier, and Shadow Puppets - Swatches & Review

Good morning!! Today's post is from the indie brand Darling Diva!
This is my first experience with them :)
Darling Diva Darling Diva Macros Darling Diva Care Bear For a Crow (1) Darling Diva Care Bear For a Crow (2)
 Care Bear For a Crow
"a compilation of various colored hearts and flowers in a clear purple/blue shimmer base along with a scattering of black glitters for my lovely crow"

I applied 2.5 coats of Care Bear For a Crow over Zoya Neely.
This is a pretty darn cute glitter topper polish, but not the easiest to use!It does require a good bit of fishing, which isn't difficult but can be a pain.
Not 100% sold that it's worth the effort, but that is for you to decide! I appreciate that it is stated ont he listing that you will have to fish though- no surprises!

Darling Diva Glacier (4)Darling Diva Glacier (1) Darling Diva Glacier (2) Darling Diva Glacier (3)
 Glacier
"a soft blue holo polish with mini blue/purple iridescent glitters added to give extra bling."

This is three thin coats of Glacier! Glacier is just gorgeous!
The formula was perfect and I love the touch of flakies to give it that little extra oomph!

Darling Diva Shadow Puppets (2)Darling Diva Shadow Puppets (1)
 Shadow Puppets
black hearts, stars, circles, and various sized hexes in a white crelly base.

I used three thin coats of Shadow Puppets above!
The formula was good, but next time I will probably layer it over a white just to make application a little easier! But I always like to try and swatch them built up on their own for reviews for you guys :)

Candeo Colors Fallen - Swatches & Review!

Friday at last! What are your plans for this weekend? Me and the hubby are staying in and watching the Fringe season finale tonight! I can't wait!
Today's second post is Candeo Colors Fallen, my second Candeo Colors polish.
It only seemed fitting to layer it over Hare Polish Rusty Hearts as that is my second Hare Polish too!

IMG_7963 Candeo Fallen (3) Candeo Fallen (4) Candeo Fallen (2)
Fallen
"A delicate mix of white and iridescent glitter suspended in a clear base."

I believe I only used one coat over Rusty Hearts. Fallen has amazing coverage for a single coat of a glitter topper! I didn't have to place the glitter at all, it just went on evenly without any effort!
I really love this combination! It is so intricate.
The iridescent glitter turns blue over the red and looks fantastic!

I layered this over Hare Polish Rusty Hearts, seen here earlier today!
