Colorblock Mani Fail

Hey guys! So this mani was a bit fail-ish.
I had the base on before I knew what I wanted to try, if I re-did it I would alternate the base colors on the fingers so I would have more options for the color blocking patterns, but oh well!
Also I was very lazy and did it kind of half ass TBH lol. I wasn't 100% sure if my nails were fully dry so I didn't put the tape down good enough, so the lines aren't crisp or perfectly aligned..but I really like the colors together!

I was inspired by Sarah's Chalkboard Nails Tutorial, though I probably shame her with my crappy mani  LOL
It had potential but I didn't execute it well :)

I used Kbshimmer 24 Carrot Bold, Illamasqua Nomad & Jinide Nails sTEALth.
Colorblock Mani (1) Colorblock Mani (2)

& I mattified it with Butter London Matte Finish.

I wish the lines were perfect :( I liked it matte so much.
It looked good.... from arm's length distance haha

I definitely want to use Nomad & 24 Carrot Bold together again!
Any idea of how they would look good together?

Happy 4th of July! Patriotic Mani

Hey guys! Happy Fourth of July!
Not super happy with how my mani turned out, kinda messy D:

Shout out to my girl Karin from http://www.rinsnailfiles.com/!
Happy birthday sweetie!! <3 <3

Not sure why they look grungy probably from lotion, oops :P
Plus I didn't clean it up too nicely (Ambien kicked in last night lols!)

Index: I started with two coats of Zoya-Purity, then taped my nail with scotch tape to make the square with Essence-Just Rock It . I made the stripes with the red Sinful Colors striper. Dotting tool for the dots/"stars".
Middle: Base coat is one coat of Zoya-Sooki, used scotch tape to make "Fireworks" (failed haha) I used Zoya-Trixie, and then Essence-Just Rock it again.
Ring: Zoya-Purity, Zoya-Trixie, Essence-Just Rock It & Milani-Sail Away. I used a black striper to outline it.
I added some glitter from the cupcake from Milani- Red (584) and Lynnderella-Bibbity Boppity Boo Blue.
Pinky: Base Zoya-Purity, Zoya-Sooki and Sally Hansen-Co-Bolt Blue stamped with Bundle Monster Plate BM 301 (Sooki) & Cheeky Plate CH 04.

Whew! A lot! lol

I hope you guys are having a wonderful Wednesday!
<3 Sarah!

My Stash & Melmer's! & Funky Finger's NOTD!:(

Hey guys!! Here is my really quick Melmer post! Now I literally put the polishes in these as quick as I could  after I organized them by color because I was tired and it took me 2 hours to put them both together (I was watching tv though lol) So These are not how I will keep them or anything and I am going to get the skid proof  stuff so they don't slide around but I thought you guys would like to see my stash! it has grown!! I counted them up last night and it was 316 but them I found a whole other snapware container of polishes LOL and with those included the total was 391!! OMFG but that is counting my frankens (I probably have 18-20 I made) & I included mini's, But not counting my topcoats (22) But here are pics!
My new Melmer's! & Our new bedframe courtesy of my sister <3
I cropped out my desk because it is a MESS but it is right next to the Melmer's & that is where I do my nails :)
And yes I know we really need a bedset that matches LOL but hey atleast our bed isn't on the floor anymore :P
Drawer 1-Topcoats, Basecoats, brushes & tools, nail plates etc :P

Drawer #2-Blacks, Grey's, Silvers, Whites & Glitter  topcoats.

Drawer #3-Purples & Pinks (lol I have more purple than any other color I think 74 purples LOL)

Drawer #4-Blues & a few Pinks

Drawer #5-Greens & cotton balls

Drawer #6-Red's, Oranges, Yellows, Golds & Browns.

Today's Nails are From the Finky Finger's package I got from Megan (@ http://paintingrainbowsblog.blogspot.com/) I used 2 thin coats of Kenyan Sunset ( I think you could pull off one coat with this! I just like using thinner coats), then one coat of SV, taped my ring finger accent nail and did one coat of Icicle Lights, then one coat of Sand and Stilettos then repeated and did one more of each. (I couldn't decide which to use!!!)

:'( My Index finger nail broke a bit! I blame the bedframe! LOL

China Glaze Lemon Fizz & Solar Power

Hello All! Just watched Bones on the DVR :D Anyway today I felt like something in Easter-ish colors! I really wanted to do a Cute Easter mani but My daughter lost my nail stamper and I don't have any nail art brushes (though some are on their way!) But hopefully I find my stamper & I can use my a light lilac & mint green or something :D

I used China Glaze-Lemon Fizz- A pretty daffodil pastel yellow creme
& then I layered China Glaze-Solar Power over half my nail diagonally using tape :) Solar Power is a "Taxi-cab yellow" with golden shimmer.

Here is Lemon Fizz By it's self, 3 coats no top coat

& Here is it paired with Solar power + seche vite.
