Hi guys! How are you all doing? What are you guys up to this weekend?
I'm still doing well, just trying to stay motivated with my health kick lately!
Not doing too shabby, 7 lbs down! And my belated Mother's Day gift will get here today!
It's an elliptical :D Not exactly a very fun gift but one I wanted really bad that will be really useful for us both.

Today's post is featuring the 2014 Milani Gold Label polishes!
You guys have probably already seen these a bunch and a long time ago,

I love the cremes in this collection so much! Since I use very thin coats a few needed a third coat.
But I think that they are definitely do able with two thicker coats.

I like all of the glitters with the exception of Sugar Cane. I can get behind bar glitter on occasion but...
This polish just doesn't do it for me. Sugar Rush is a little sparser than I'd prefer but I love the glitter combo in it.
The rest had really great coverage and dispersed really well.

My favorites are Colorful Coral, Splendid Strawberry and Sugar Rush!
The glitters aren't anything to go crazy over but they are nice.

Be sure to follow Milani on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter.

Here is a picture of the gradient that is under Sugar High above.
I just love how this gradient came out so much, It was even prettier in person!

Indigo Bananas Moonlight (Clair de Lune)

Hey guys! I have a quick, super sparkly post for you all today!
I picked up this stunning polish from Indigo Bananas called Moonlight/Clair de Lune.

I saw it on Lavish Layerings and bought it immediately! I layered one coat over Zoya Trixie,
but for optimum sparkle you can build it up on it's own with patience and four coats!
It's seriously so reflective and beautiful, if you love silver and sparkly then go get this!

Milani 2014 Nail Lacquers - Swatches & Review

Hey guys! I hope you all had a fantastic week! Any fun plans for this weekend?
We are going to the mall to get Skylar some new sandals and then heading to Home Depot.
Then we will hit the playground! Super fun plans, I know. We know how to party!

I've started to work out and eat healthier, which has made a huge improvement on how I've been feeling lately.
And I've lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks! Which is a pretty huge deal to me since my Hashimoto's is untreated
at the moment and I've failed miserably at losing any weight under the same circumstances in the past!
I have to take it easy until my gums are healed from my wisdom teeth extraction the other day, but I will be back at it soon!

The past six months have been really rough for me but things are finally feeling like they are falling into place.
I'll have insurance again next month so I'll be able to get my dosage sorted out and take my thyroid medicine again.
I can't wait to feel better. And If anybody else is trying to loose weight and on My Fitness Pal let me know below!
We can help each other stay on track! It's going to be a long ride for me but I finally feel like I can get there.
Practically bursting with motivation and optimism! Which is really weird for me honestly. But I'm loving it!

But on to the post :) - Today I have the Milani 2014 polishes on the blog today!

______________________________________________________

I'm really loving this assortment of colors, and they all (other than White) had good formula's and applied easily.
The White in this collection was streaky and a little thin, I'd definitely recommend Milani's High Speed Fast Dry's white (White on the Spot) over this one. It's my go to white polish!

My favorites of these are Canyon Country, Mulberry Sugar, and Golden Romance.
Golden Romance is so gorgeous! It's hard to capture and just so much more stunning in person.
It also looks like a dupe for A England She Walks in Beauty! I need to do a proper comparison though.

Be sure to follow Milani on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

Have you picked any of these up? Do you plan to?
Milani is my favorite drugstore brand and so well priced! I love their polishes and makeup so much!

Pastel Easter Gradient

Hi guys! I'm really excited about today's post! Which is a big deal since lately I just haven't been as excited about blogging, polish or anything really. I just couldn't wait to share my Easter manicure with you guys!

I really hope you guys like it as much as me! I think it's perfect :D I'm so obsessed with gradients lately.

Also my Blogiversary is coming up on the 22nd! I really wanted this year's giveaway to be on time but I haven't received everything for it yet, but hopefully it'll be up before the end of the month! I will keep you guys updated!

Pastel Gradient Easter Gradient (2) Easter Gradient (3)
For this gradient I used the sponge method (painting strips on polish onto the sponge and smushing it on the nails) I used the following colors over a white base.

Barielle - Banana Drop, Barielle -Pink Flip-Flops, Orly - Lollipop, Zoya - Blu, and Bondi - Lady Liberty.
Barely of  Lady Liberty even got on the nail though. I used too many colors lol!

After that I was trying to decide what to put on top, between China Glaze Fairy Dust,
Lynnderella Connect the Dots, Elevation Haba Xueshan or nail stamping. I chose Haba Xueshan!

Contrary Polish Love Lyrics Redux Collection - Swatches & Review!

Hi guys! How are you all doing today? I hope you are all doing well!
It seems that every time I post now I just want to say sorry for being such a bad blogger lately. :(
I wanted to start this year off fresh and strong but instead I'm more unmotivated than ever.
So I'm not forcing myself to blog because It takes all of the fun out of it. I'm behind on my reviews and I hope
my PR contacts don't hate me for it. I'm accepting less for review so it feels like less of an obligation.
I really just want it to become as fun again like it was when I started blogging. And I want to do more nail art.

I just wanted to say Thank You to you guys for following me, and sticking with me through my continuous ups and downs through life and blogging. As I've mentioned in the past depression is a big problem for me and has been for a very long time. Lately it has gotten even worse.. I didn't even think it could.
I'm trying very hard to stop letting depression dictate my life - my relationships with people and the things that I love but it is hard. It's saddening to have something so important to me that typically brings me such joy to feel more like a burden. The excitement just hasn't been here for me lately. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry and thank you.

As for today's post and the reason you are here...

Today's post is featuring the new Contrary Polish Love Lyrics Redux Collection!

Check out my swatches and macros below of this elegant spring collection.

You'll also see my short lived rounded nail shape, I've already filed them again but let me know what you think about them!

Pahlish March Duo - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is of the Pahlish March Duo - Don't Hesitate!
This Duo is only available in March and is being restocked today so if you love it I urge you guys to move fast!

This Duo is extra special because it is celebrating Shannon and Josh's wedding!
Josh is Shannon's husband and the other half of Pahlish for those who are unaware :)

This duo was inspired by Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way" which is their song.

I'm wishing you two newlyweds so much love and happiness! Congrats you guys!

Pahlish Shadows Grow So Long (1)
Shadows Grow So Long - Two coats.

"Soft lavender cream with purple, lavender, and scattered iridescent charcoal flakes"

Pahlish Fireflies Under the Pines
Fireflies Under the Pines - One coat over Shadows Grow So Long .

"Topcoat with satin lavender dots, lavender metallic glitter, and caramel metallic
glitter accented by lavender-gold flake shimmer and iridescent purple hex"

Pahlish Fireflies Under the Pines Matte

Here is the duo Mattified! It doesn't look nearly as pretty as it did in person...
But trust me these two are stunning matte! If you buy this duo you MUST matteify it!

______________________________________________________

This duo is so stunning and has tons of detail that I feel my pictures didn't capture perfectly.
But Jenny from Lavish Layerings did a far better job than I so go check out her review!
She did a great job on it and she captured it a bit more accurately.

My camera was having trouble focusing on all of the tiny flecks and captured Shadows Grow So Long a tiny bit lighter than in person. It is more
lavender and less white looking in person.

**While I'm talking on the subject this has been happening for months now, my camera (Canon Rebel T1i) hasn't been focusing as well and hasn't been performing 100%. For micro shimmers, holos, etc I have to take many more pictures now to get them into focus like it used to easily.  If anybody has any advice please, please let me know down below!
I'm pretty positive that it is the body because it does it with all of my lenses. It's four years old now.**

Anyway back on subject! Pahlish will be restocking Today at 7 PM CST which is in about 20 minutes!

This duo will be available for $15.00. You can't buy these separately but single Pahlishes are $9.50 each.
Pahlish also sells Mystery Pahlishes ($6.00) and Holographic Mystery Pahlishes ($7.50)

Make sure you guys are following Pahlish on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram to stay up to date!

Pahlish March Duo Don't Hesitate

Now I'm going to finish laying around being utterly useless and continue blowing my nose 8000 times a day, haha.
Being sick Ftl! I hope you are all well and havign a wonderful Spring!

Pahlish Timeless Flight Collection - Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Happy Friday!! I can hardly believe it's even March yet and it already feels like it is flying by!
KC Comicon is next weekend! Woot! My sister, BIL and brother are going to head up here to stay with us for it since our place is the closest so we can all go again this year like last. I love my family so much <3
I'm way too excited to drink with them and play board games, haha.

Anyway today's post is a brand new collection from the talented (and newlywed) Shannon from Pahlish!
Congratulations again Shannon!!

This collection is the
Timeless Flight Collection, it has six gorgeous holographic polishes inspired by Elton John!

Pahlish Electric Boots
Electric Boots - Two coats.

Electric Boots is a little sheer but it went on smooth and even for me and was opaque with two coats.

It's super sparkly and shiny and much more holographic in person.

"Bright cornflower blue linear holographic with soft gold shimmer and scattered gold flakes"

Pahlish Mohair Suit (1)
Mohair Suit - Three thin coats.

Mohair Suit went on like a breeze for me. Two coats was a little sheer so I used three.
I recommend using two coats of topcoat to make it smooth. Some of the little micro flakies weren't laying flat for me.
This is just an awesome color! Great for people who need work friendly colors but still need some sparkle!

Colors by Llarowe Precious Metal & Rare Bear

Hi all! I realize I haven't been posting as much as I would like and I want to tell you all I am sorry!
My husband got a new promotion at work but in doing so him hours have changed drastically and I'm still trying to adjust to it being so different. He used to get home by 3 pm so he was home a lot, which opened up more free time for me.

Now he doesn't get home until after bedtime. I usually stay up late to blog and swatch but it's much harder to do now.
Sky doesn't sleep well by herself so it forces me to give up that free time I usually dedicated to myself.
Before my hubby had to wake up very early for work so he went to bed early so it was taken care of but now it's all wonky.

Anyway, needless to say I'm super behind. I already was before this and this just made it worse.
But it will be worthwhile, we can finally get insurance for me which I desperately need!
Hopefully I get to find a better "time slot" to do my blogging now, but it can be very hard with a clingy kid!

Okay enough rambling! For today's post I have two more gorgeous Colors by Llarowe polishes I purchased recently.
(And click here to see swatches of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!)
