*Products in this post were sent to me for the purpose of a 100% honest unbiased review.*
A Rhyming Dictionary
Gig, Grape Jam, Jam, & Professor Wogglebug.

A Rhyming Dictionary Macros
A Rhyming Dictionary Gig

Gig
"a coral polish that has holographic flashes to it"

Three thin and easy coats! Flawless application. I really love this color and the subtle holo <3
A Rhyming Dictionary Grape Jam
Grape Jam

Grape Jam is the favorite garnish to Terp the Terrible’s magic muffins. Hence why Terp is so fascinated by Jam (Jonathan Andrew Manley).
"The polish itself is pretty much mardi gras themed (on accident). A purple crelly with a mix of yellow, teal, lavender, and white mix of matte glitter in it. Dries to a matte finish."

I used three thin coats. It applied well and smoothly even with the amount of glitter in it, seriously impressive!
The shimmer is subtle (at least next to all the glitter) but gorgeous.

A Rhyming Dictionary Jam
Jam
"a mix of matte pink and blue shards, black, white, and purple shards and pink holo hexes."

A single coat over Gig, for a shard polish this really does disperse well. I've tried many that don't!
A Rhyming Dictionary Professor Wogglebug
Professor Wogglebug

a pearly blue base with black and white shards, pink and blue squares white, pink, and black hearts with small pink hexes.

I used three thin coats for opacity. It applied really well.
You all probably know by now that some shades are just not for me..mostly shimmers with glitters lol
So this one isn't for me, but it has a good formula and applies well!

A Rhyming Dictionary Polish - Part of The Hidden Valley Collection - Swatches & Review

Today I have three polishes from The Hidden Valley collection from A Rhyming Dictionary!
A Rhyming Dictionary Polish A Rhyming Dictionary macros A Rhyming Dictionary Equinots (4) A Rhyming Dictionary Equinots (5) A Rhyming Dictionary Equinots (1)
Equinots

First is Equinots! I layered one coat ( I think!) of Equinots over China Glaze Urban Night.
I love the micro shimmer in this polish! It applied easily and it is glitter, and shimmer packed full!
A Rhyming Dictionary Magic Muffins (4) A Rhyming Dictionary Magic Muffins (2) A Rhyming Dictionary Magic Muffins (5)
Magic Muffins

Three thin coats of pure amazing blurple-ness!!
Magic Muffins dries to a demi matte finish and it gorgeous with and without topcoat!
The formula was very smooth and easy to apply, thin but not runny.
A Rhyming Dictionary Tin Woodman (4) A Rhyming Dictionary Tin Woodman (3)
Tin Woodman

I layered two thin coats of Tin Woodman over Milani Quick Teal.
Albeit not my type of polish, Tin Woodman is pretty. I like the mix of colors and the shimmer but both together just isn't my thing. Application was easy, the glitter doesn't go on super even effortlessly
(I applied normally) but if you want it more spread out you will have to do more than the easy swipe.

but here are my favorite 12 polishes I got in the year 2012!
I'm just doing one instead of Indie vs Mainstream etc. These are polishes I felt blown away by, used the most or just fell in love with during the past year!
My Top 12 Polishes of 2012 (2)
I separated them to have the more mainstream brands first then indies second!
I tried to not have too many indies included, but they really stole my heart this year!

I wanted this polish for almost a year before I finally broke down and bought it.
I wish I did sooner! This is the first time I have posted it on the blog. but it is easily one of my most worn polishes of the year. Three coats.

A Rhyming Dictionary Polishes- Crooked Magician, Tiiti-hoochoo, Regos, & The Scarecrow Swatches & Review!

 Hello all! <3
Today's post is another review from indie polish maker Morgan, from A Rhyming Dictionary Polish.
A Rhyming Dictionary Polish
(From L-R) Crooked Magician, Titti-hoochoo, Regos, and The Scarecrow.

Staring off with the most beautiful!!!
A Rhyming Dictionary Crooked Magician (1) A Rhyming Dictionary Crooked Magician (2) A Rhyming Dictionary Crooked Magician (3)
Crooked Magician
A bright blue jelly polish with rainbow flakies.
Guys, I am so in love with this polish-You have no idea.
I decided to build it up. It's a jelly and takes four coats to opacity, which I realize sounds like a lot.

I dislike having to do over three almost ever. This polish is an exception.
The beautiful depth you get with this, ugh I mean just buy it.
I love blue and I really love jellies. This is perfect. So effing gorgeous!!
You can also layer it over black, which is shown further in this post.
No exaggeration though, I think this is one of my favorite polishes I got this year!
A Rhyming Dictionary Titti Hoochoo (1) A Rhyming Dictionary Titti Hoochoo (2)
A Rhyming Dictionary Titti-hoochoo (3) A Rhyming Dictionary Titti-hoochoo (4)
Titti-hoochoo
A pearl with color changing pigment. Over black it looks reddish-purple but it was many different kinds of pigment so it will look a little bit different over every color.

For the first two photos I used two thin coats of Titti-hoochoo over black polish.
For the last two I used two thin coats over Opi-Vampire State Building.
This is a really pretty layering polish, I would recommend buying the larger bottle though.
I believe it would be easier to have even coats with the larger bottle, I just have a hard time with mini's getting as evenly as I would like.
A Rhyming Dictionary Regos (1) A Rhyming Dictionary Regos (2)
Regos
Tiny black, white, and mint hexes with larger mint hexes added in with a green tinted base!

Two very thin coats of Regos over of SpaRitual-Lithophonic.
I really lover this one-probably my second favorite of the bunch!
Further in the post I layered it over black and you can see the green shimmer in it <3
A Rhyming Dictionary The Scarecrow (1) A Rhyming Dictionary The Scarecrow (4) A Rhyming Dictionary The Scarecrow (2)
The Scarecrow

A blue color shift top coat with purple iridescent flakies.

This is another polish I highly recommend buying a full size bottle of it you like it.
It was pretty difficult for me to try to get even coverage, and I think the mini had to do with that.
I cannot be certain, but I do think that is why it was hard for me.
This polish is really pretty, but my least favorite. No particular reason I can think of.
I don't wear a lot of metallic polishes often-maybe that is why?
Maybe subconscious because I thought it was a pain to put on. *shrug*
I used three thin coats over black.
