Butter London Boho Rock Collection Swatches - Goss and Keen

Hi guys! Today I have two polishes from the recent Butter London Boho Rock Collection to show you.
These two shades are gorgeous and extremely wearable, I hope you guy enjoy the swatches!

Butter London Goss
Goss - Two coats.

Goss is an elegant rose gold metallic foil polish.

The formula on Goss wasn't bad, you have to apply slowly and smoothly in order to avoid brushstrokes.
I really love it and I can't wait to try it with stamping plates! I don't have another rose gold metallic in my collection.

Butter London Keen
Keen - Three coats.

Keen is a really pretty delicate peach creme polish.

Keen applied good, it was a little streaky but nothing difficult.
It's a really nice peachy nude polish and I really liked it on me!

Colors by Llarowe Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

Hey guys! Today's post is just a quick one, I have been slacking so bad lately D:
I received my Llarowe purchase the other day, with my first CBL polishes in it!
I have been wanting to try them for ages and I finally broke down and bought a few!

And I just had to put this baby on right away!
Below is two coats of CBL Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.

Colors by Llarowe Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (1) Colors by Llarowe Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (3) Colors by Llarowe Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star (4)

The formula was a little thick which was unexpected, I was expecting it to be thinner like normal jelly polishes.
But it still applied really nicely and I didn't have any issues with it. Easy peasy!
I was happy to find out that the removal was the same, super easy.
It does dry the tiniest bit gritty and I found that for pictures it looked best with two coats of topcoat.
The first photo only has one and you can tell that it looks less smooth than photos 2 & 3.
It was not noticeable in person at all though. I'm really impressed with this polish and I can't wait to try the other 3 I bought!

I hope you guys all have had a wonderful weekend!
Did anybody do anything fun for Valentine's Day?

Bal Masque

Bal Masque is kind of a dusty cornflower blue with a tinge of purple, filled with golden microflake shimmer.

Bal Masque has a really great formula, it goes on very smooth and evenly.
It's a bit sheer and requires three coats for opacity, but it's also layerable.
I wore it built up on it's own.

OPI Gwen Stefani Skittle Nail Art

Hi all! Today's post is of a nail art skittle manicure I did using some polishes form the OPI Gwen Stefani collection.
I posted my review & swatches on the blog yesterday, you can check it out here!

You can see a breakdown of what I did to each nail below! Hope you guys like it!

Opi Gwen Stefani Nail Art (1) Opi Gwen Stefani Nail Art (2) Opi Gwen Stefani Nail Art (3)

Pointer

For this nail I started off with 4 In The Morning, then I added on a large diamond stud from the Over & Over A-Gwen set.

I used a little too much glue and the excess is a little noticeable in the pictures but it wasn't in person.

Middle

On this nail I used Love.Angel.Music.Baby. as the base color and using I Sing In Color and Over and Over A-Gwen .

I free-handed the leopard print with a dotting tool.

Ring

For this nail I used a nail art brush and Over and Over A-Gwen & 4 In the Morning to do a sort of color block manicure. Then I added six black crystals from the Over and Over A-Gwen set.  It looks a little funky top putting topcoat over it, so I guess maybe you shouldn't topcoat over studs and gems? I don't really use them enough to know these things! : /

Pinky

The pinky nail has I Sing In Color as the base coat and then I framed it with Love.Angel.Music.Baby.

Then I added a single gold stud again from the Over and Over A-Gwen set!

I think the Over & Over A-Gwen boxed set is a really fun starter kit for those you want to try out nail art with gems and studs! It's a nice way to try out different kinds without having to buy a ton of each without knowing if you'll like them or not.
Not to mention the perfect formula of Over & Over A-Gwen! The Over & Over A-Gwen boxed set retails for $14.95.

And a completely random side note - I just finished Dexter yesterday. I don't even know how I feel right now D:
Season 8 seemed all over the place, I still love the show though. I stopped watching it a few seasons ago and caught up when I realized that it's on Netflix. What should I watch now?!?? lol Also I can't believe that it's February!
