Illamasqua-Poke Swatches!

Hey guys! Today's post is the GORGEOUS Illamasqua Polish Poke!
& Also my very first Illamasqua polish!
It is so beautiful! I'm in <3 This is three thin coats of pure beauty!!
The Formula was fantastic, went on so evenly for me.

Purple's are crazy hard to capture right but I tried as hard as I could to get close, unfortunately I didn't get to take photo's in sunlight but maybe tomorrow! But anyway it is a little less blue toned and more true purple irl.

Yay for my new Macro lens!! I love it! All the shimmer jampacked in Poke is Amazing!
This polish retails for $14.00 at http://www.sephora.com/ (or of course in Sephora stores)

My Holiday Influenster Voxbox Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is my Influenster Voxbox Review! (Don't worry I promise nail posts soon) ;)
Here is a picture of the items in my box!

Softsoap Coconut Scrub Bar Soap
It's funny I actually had this and was using it for about a week before I got my voxbox!
I saw it in Walmart, and since I love trying new products and I love coconut scents it was a no brainer for me!
Personally I really love this soap, typically I use bodywash because most soaps dry my skin out, but this one doesn't! And I love the exfoliate-y particles in it =] But I usually use a loofa so not sure those matter much for me.
Sorry no pictures here :P Not sure a shower picture would be appropriate! lol jk
But looking back I should have taken a picture of a fresh bar..sorry!
http://www.softsoap.com

Mentos Pure Fresh Gum
I'll be honest I'm not a big gum chewer at all, and when I get gum it is always Orbit-Sweet Mint.
Other flavors taste okay but idk, that is my go to gum..sort of like Sprite is my go to soda, I never get sick of it like I do others if i have too much.
The flavor wasn't bad but didn't last very long either, maybe 45 mins to an hour..but I'm not sure what is the norm since I chew gum maybe once a month lol. I like the packaging, but I didn't like how hard the gum was to bite at the beginning (sensitive teeth), but like some gums that get more "tough" overtime this one didn't so that was nice, gum that does that hurts my jaw :(

Again I didn't feel pictures were necessarily here :P I should have taken one of me blowing a bubble though!

LARABAR
This was my first experience with this, never heard of it before at all or anything.
I didn't love my bar so much, but I think I would like other flavors and I am intrigued to try more.
The good to me was the texture and that it was moist not dry.
I think the big issue with me and the flavor was that I could taste the fruit, and it was supposed to be chocolate chip brownie flavored, you know?
Let me state this though-I am very picky with chocolate, I like plain yummy milk chocolate. No chocolate bars like snickers, peppermint bark etc (Hubby thinks I am crazy, I mean sure on occasion they are okay)
But I just like plain chocolate. Unless it is caramel filled. But overall definitely not bad, I ate the whole thing :)
At LÄRABAR, we believe that the foundation of a sound mind, body and spirit is derived from what you eat. And what you eat is healthiest and most satisfying when it's in a whole, natural state. Made from only 2-9 ingredients, each LÄRABAR is a delicious blend of just fruits, nuts and spices. Pure and simple, just as nature intended.™

imPRESS Press-On Manicure-Broadway Nails
These are really nice and I think would be perfect for those who are nail art challenged, or like artificial nails.
#1 Packaging-ADORABLE! Love it!
#2 Super easy to Apply, and take off!
#3 They cause zero damage to your nails!

But..there is a but..I think they need to offer a larger variety of sizes & lengths.
I used my right hand ("non-pic hand") that has shorter nails and these were still too short : /
Plus they just didn't fit my nails :(
I would still def recommend these if you think they will fit your nails, there is a big variety of styles and they are very cute!
On a personal level I doubt I will ever buy these, but not because the product quality I think other people should!! But I loathe artificial nails, I have had one manicure when I was 14 got acrylics and pretty much pulled them off a day later after prom (My sister took me to be girly with her :), at that point in time I was NOT girly!) But the feeling is SO alien to me and I just don't like it, haha.

The style of mine wasn't "Me" Nude colored & classy, not my favorite but still really cute. very shiny, and SO quick to put on & take off!)

imPress Manicure retails for $5.99 for colors and $7.99 for patterns, and is available at CVS, Rite Aid, Duane Reade, KMart, Walgreens, Walmart and more.  Such cute packaging! & look Nail polish PJ's! :)  (Walmart!)

NYC Liquid Lip Shine
This was my first NYC lippie, and I usually don't wear nudes much but I really like this, it is so sparkly and pretty! I think the Quality for the price is Phenomenal!
It was pretty sheer, which I like because my lips still look plenty pink and I like pink lips :)
It was a bit sticky, but seriously most gloss is, and it is thick enough to last a long time and hold in moisture which is important in the winter months!

A beauty-editor favorite is Liquid Lipshine ($2.49). It has pure pigments that created a 3-D gloss effect. Vitamin E provides shine and a moisturizing feel. The formula is non-sticky, super shiny & soft. Available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries & fuchsias. Start shopping for NYC at these stores nearest you: Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB, and others.  Visit newyorkcolor.com to check out all shades and fun products from New York Color!

Swatch of my wrist/hand of NYC-Nude York City
Here is it on my lips, applied pretty lightly though you could definitely put on more and get a little more color payoff ..but only so much it is a sheer Lippie.

Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask
The Montagne Jeunesse mask I received was the Fruit smoothie pore cleansing one, in Crushed Raspberry.
The scent wasn't bad at all, but not completely fruity either. I think I could smell the clay through it a little but not unpleasant at all. It felt really relaxing and cooling. I buy these pretty often, just for the fun, they work pretty well, especially for the price. My favorite pore cleanser is Origin's Clay one, but it costs a lot so I use these in between my bi-monthly use of that one.
I don't have super problematic pores, really the only place they are visible is on the tip of my nose.
I took before and after pictures but it's hard to notice a difference. I do think it helped pull out redness in my skin & that was a very nice pleasant surprise!
Montagne Jeunesse beauty treats are free of parabens, vegetarian approved and never tested on animals. So treat yourself today to a masque that will hydrate, nourish and leave your skin cleansed, smooth and glowing. Available at ULTA Beauty, Walgreen’s, Claire’s, Walmart, Kroger, CVS Pharmacies and other retailers across the US, these masques are available in a variety of succulent flavours, including:
  • Cucumber Peel Off
  • Passion Peel Off
  • Dead Sea Mud
  • Fruit Smoothie
  • Strawberry Souffle
  • Chocolate Mud
  • And many more!

And because I love you guys & have a odd sense of humor & I love you guys
here is me whilst trying the mask!

hehe..Random Question of the Day!! Can you cross only one eye?!?

Super Long post! But I hope it was of some help for any of you guys!
Or at least hope you got a laugh at me :P

  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Whether you celebrate this holiday or not!
Here is my tree Pre & Post presents! (I have a toddler so I couldn't put them under until now!)

& Here is a picture of one of the Pumpkin Pies I made last night! I spent the past day cooking a feast for Christmas Eve dinner :) It was delish!

Here are a few pictures of my Xmas Eve EOTD, I really just could NOT get a good photo of it.
My Camera can be very unforgiving and the blending looked so pretty irl, also the green in the outer corner wasn't picked up much either but trust me it was so pretty in person!

I used
The warm toned Gold in the Sephora Metallize Palette over about 2/3rds of my lid
Urban Decay-Halfbaked & Deeper on my lower lashline
Urban Decay-Deeper in the crease
The Dark Green Crease shade in WnW Comfort Zone Pallete in my outer V
Urban Decay-Virgin as my highlight
And ELF mineral eyeshadow in earthy wet as Liner
Urban decay 24/7 liner in Mildew on my waterline
Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara in Blackest Black

For my eyebrows I filled them in with Illamasqua brow cake in Thunder
& went over that with Per-fekt brow gel in Espresso

Christmas-y Skittles! *Picture Heavy*

Hey guys! Super excited to share this Mani with you guys!
I tried my best and worked really hard on it, This post is picture heavy D:
Pictures of everything I used (Polish & tools) at the bottom!

<3 You Guys!! Enjoy! This has sure helped me get into the Holiday spirit!
Going to try to get more done before xmas too!
I normally try to avoid "props" but had to get one holding a pretty ornament :D <3
Upclose pics of each nail :D

Here are the tools and polishes I used to make this mani!

Nail striping tape (for my pinky/candy cane nail)

Nail art brushes and dotting tools

Here are the polishes I used for the tree, I mixed the fist three cremes then added a bit of the holos on top.
From L-R-Color Club-Artsy Crafty ,Julep-Emilie, ChG-Westside Warrior, Nubar-Reclaim, & Glitter Gal-Lizard Belly.

For the background of the tree I uses Sinful Colors-Snow me White & NOPI-It's All About the Glam

ChG-Mega Bite ,Opi Ds-Glamour, Gosh-Holo, & GG-Dark purple & holo red!
These were used as Ornaments & the star tree topper.

Here are the colors for in pointer finger, Chg-Mega Bite, Zoya-Delilah for the bow (Over Zoya-Sooki) and Essence-Irreplaceable. I also used some glitter from Lynnderella-One nutty fruitcake but couldn;t find the bottle for pics :(

The colors for the Candy cane nail (pinky) Zoya-Sooki & Zoya-Ginessa.

Here are multiple little nail art brushes I used, mainly for my middle finger nail, the base was Glitter Gal-holo red, then I used these for the ornaments.

Milani High Speed Fast Dry Review!

Hi guys I have a review for you today! I have part of the Milani High speed fast dry limited edition polishes!

They are supposed to be a one coat formula, but honestly I used two with all of them but Violet Rush.
I just wasn't happy with the coverage from the reast with one coat, that said the formula's for these were awesome and reminded me of the Zoya Summertime collection, overall just wonderful creme's.
So in other words imo a perfect formula and consistency, The first coats on a few were streaky, but the second applied wonderfully.
They did dry faster than normal polishes, not insanely or instantaneously but after a good 3-4 minutes dry to the touch without smudging, not sure if they would still get dings at the point but then topped with SV they were completely dry very fast!

And for those who don't read every post I am letting my hands and cuticles get dry for an upcoming review so i'm sorry they aren't perfect atm. lol
From left to right: Milani-Yellow Whiz, Milani-Jiffy Orange & Milani-Hot Pink Frenzy.
Milani-Fast Fuchsia, and Milani-Violet Dash

Here is Yellow Whiz-LOL I LOVE the name of this, but aside from that I love the formula. This has officially taken my #1 Favorite Yellow Creme finish award! This is two coats, the first was a bit streaky, but not
nearly as bad as all of the other yellow's I have tried! It just makes me think of banana's! Bright yellow creme finish, but anyway This was my favorite, so bright but not neon I just <3 it!
This is Jiffy Orange, very pretty and went on great! I used two coats. It is a creme but looks squishy-ish!

This is Hot Pink Frenzy..I am sorry about this picture and how gross & ghostly it makes my finger's look..it was the one that showed the color best. I had a hard time capturing this polish it is kind of coral-y and pink..Poral? Not in love with this one to be honest : /
This is the only one out of the bunch I got with shimmer in it, very subtle but pretty.

This one is Fast Fuchsia, I LOVE this one so much, a bright-but not too bright- pink creme. It very much reminds me of Zoya-Areej, not sure if they are dupes but if anybody is interested I could test. Just a beautiful, very bright but not neon, I will be wearing this a lot in the spring! again two coats.

& Here is Violet Dash, a gorgeous color as well, a light violet creme, it leans a tiny bit blue but is so pretty in person, this is one coat!!

Here is a comparison between the brushes, I much prefer the fast dry brushes to the regular ones personally!

I say these are a buy, especially the yellow I highly recommend Yellow Whiz (lol-but for cereal ;P)
If you have been wanting Areej and find Fast Fuchsia grab it!

I hope you all have a wonderful day! & hurry back I have a super cute holiday mani coming tomorrow..or maybe even later today.. (You know I'm impatient!)
