11 Questions Tag!

I was tagged by Tarra from http://everygirlneedsalittlesparkle.blogspot.com  :D
I haven't been tagged in a while, and I haven't had as much time for normal blog posts with moving so I thought it was a good time to do one, plus I was tagged :P.

The rules of the tag as as follows:

1. Each tagged person must answer the 11 questions given to them by their "tagger" and post it on their blog
2. Then, choose 11 new people to tag and link them in your post.
3. Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer
4. Go to their page and tell them they've been tagged!
5. Do not tag back the person who has already tagged you.

Here are the questions she asked!

1. If you could time travel, would you go backwards or forwards? What place would you go to?
Hmm..I think too much, If I couldn't remember the time I passed if I skipped ahead then I would rather go back in time than miss out watching my daughter grow. But I would be tempted to get out of these terrible twos!
I'd likely just go back and re-live the past and just enjoy it again and hope I didn't cause it to change any.

2.  What is you favorite makeup brand and why?
Only one?!? It varies really per product!Overall I'd have to say Urban Decay & Mac are my top two!
Urban Decay is what I own the most of, great quality products and you can't beat the palettes! Mac is my #1 fav for lippies

3.  If you where stuck on an island, what three items would you bring?
A lighter, a tent, and a air mattress lol

4.  If you could be a movie character, who would you be?
I really don't know, my mind keeps going back to Baby from Dirty Dancing though.

5.  Who is your favorite person in history?
Benjamin Franklin

6.  If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be and why?
I need to come back to this.. I have a dirty mind and I was just thinking of what celeb I could be to make them come give me a visit ;) hahaha! Shh..

Okay, a less pervy answer!
Probably my daughter, Just to make sure she is super happy :)
Plus I'm curious what 2 year olds think of lol

7.  What is your dream job?
Creating nail polish! Haha or a Photographer, or Artist of pretty much any kind. I wish  could be a painter.
I love crafty hobbies lol.

8.  If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
You know, I don't really have a dream place to live. I'd like to visit California, NY, Italy, all kinds of places.
But I honestly wish I was just living near all my friends and family back where I am from in Georgia.

It is hot, humid, but it will always be home in part of my heart. The rest is just like home is where my daughter and hubby are. I'd live anywhere as long as I was with them.

[Home is where the hearthstone is!] hehe

9.  You have 15 minutes to pack for an unknown destination for an unknown amount of time, what would you take?
Some makeup, my phone & charger, camera, a drink, snack, my prescriptions, headphones, hand sanitizer, and baby wipes. lol They are handy to have. Oh and some changes of clothes of course!

10. Favorite color?
Purple, hands down.

11.  What is your favorite comfort food?
My mom's homemade macaroni and cheese. It is the best. I really miss it!

Okay here are my 11 questions!
1. If you could have one superpower/"gift" what would it be and why?

2. If you had to have the same polish on for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

3. What is your all time favorite book or Author?

4. If you could choose to change anything about yourself, whether it be Physical or just to better yourself as a person, what would you change?

5. If you had to live in a movie, tv show or video game which would you choose to exist in!?

6. What do you feel is the best quality you possess?

7. How would you spend your last day on earth if you knew when that day was?

8. If you had a chance to meet anybody (alive or dead) who would you meet?

9. What is your favorite dessert?

10. What is your all time fav band?

11. Do you have a weird quirk, or something a little strange that you do? What is it!? (lol I twitch, and snort haha)

UP Colors Verde 360 Swatches! Holo Goodness!

Hey Guys! Sorry for being so scarce! Just really, really busy!
Movers come in two days! Eeek! Nervous..hopefully we will have everything ready.
I was at the hospital for THREE hours yesterday, it was awful! I mean nice service but ugh
Still sucked! I had to come back for lab results and got a CT scan done, labs showed my iron normal this time so i guess I'm not Anemic after all! But I do have a decently bad Vitamin D Deficiency!
Nothing too bad, well yet..CT scan s kinda making me nervous..results for that in 2 days!

Plus moving, packing, Physical Therapy and my hubs out processing out of the Army..yeah busy busy!
But I am here :) Anyway here is a beautiful holo polish I had to snatch up!!
Surprisingly this has held up SUPER well considering I am moving and packing, 2 chips after 2 days.
But not huge ones, only on my right hand and it's not as if it's a normal day since we are moving and stuff!
Good in my eyes anyway for a holo!

Up Colors Verde 360!

You can purchase Up Colors from Llarowe or ninjapolish!
Wishing you all well! <3 More posts soon!!

Keep all my lovely polishes in your thoughts during this moving period haha, last time I moved I only had about 20 polishes.. and I am very nervous!!

Black Jelly Glitter Sammich!

Hey guys! I've really been in a Jelly Sandwich mood lately, I did one almost exactly like this a month or two ago and loved it! I didn't get pictures and blog about it though.

First I started off with one coat of Milani-Black Swift.
Ontop of that I added Nicole by Opi-Make a Comet-ment. That's the part I did differently this time, last time I only used the Lynn)
Then I added a thin coat of Lynnderella-Mercury's Rainbow.
And Lastly a coat of a franken Black Jelly polish I made with China Glaze-Liquid Leather and Clear Polish.

First here are pictures before I added the black Jelly :)

+ black jelly

Hope you all have a wonderful day! I'm excited, tomorrow we are going to take Skylar to the Zoo for the first time :D I hope she has a lot of fun!

Not a polish post, but Info about my life upcoming events!

Hey guys! I hope everybody is doing really good! I'm not sure if I had mentioned it before or not on here BUT!
My husband is getting out of the Army on May 1st! He will have completed his 4 years he signed up for .
I'm really excited and nervous for this new transition coming up, really excited that we will be moving by some family! (Shout out to my Awesome Sister Marilyn, & Brother Jesse! Along with my two Nephews)
This is the main reason I trimmed my nails down and have been a bit nubby lately. It will likely stay this way until we are moved, hopefully nobody minds! I assumed they would break anyway sorting through everything and getting rid of un-wanted and un-needed things.
Just figured I'd give my readers a heads up! Anybody out there living in Kansas? lol

It will really be the first time we have done anything other than the Military lifestyle, since we moved in together anyway. It's a scary thing moving somewhere new and starting over, but I haven't lived near family in such a long time I can't wait for that! But anyway, I'm going to head to bed stayed up late watching movies with the hubs and I am sleepy! I hope you guys keep us in your thoughts! Dh hasn't exactly secured a job yet, though he has had a couple offers so it is a bit nerve wracking! But I'm sure everything will work out for the best, it has up until now mostly, so here is to life and starting a new chapter!

FOTD/EOTD & Yesterday's NOTD but Matte! =]

:) Well I stayed up too late last night and now I can't sleep! So I decided to play with some makeup!

These two close up's kind of wash it out a bit, but most the ones I took only had half my eye haha! Still learning to take makeup pictures I'd afraid!

I was bored and figured I'd swatch the stuff I used lol
 (L-R) Mac Kissable Lipgloss-Flaunting It, Illamasqua Brow Cake-Well.. the label doesn't say, that's odd I believe it is Thunder though..,Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Liner-Perversion, Maybelline Color Tattoo-Bold Gold, UD-Skimp, UD-Mushroom, UD-Bender, UD-Cobra, Sugarpill- Goldlux, Wet n wild Blush-Mellow Wine.

First I covered my lid with TooFaced-Shadow Insurance, and then covered it with Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold. I patted a tiny Bit of Sugarpill-Goldilux into my inner corners.
After that I used UD-Mushroom in my crease, then deeped it with UD-Cobra.
Added a tiny bit of UD-Bender into the crease but you can't see it in the pictures.
Highlighted with UD-Skimp, Filled in my brows, I used Urban Decay's Supercurl curling mascara (I used a lot of Urban Decay, trying out my new book of shadows!)
Smashbox limitless eyeliner on onyx on my lower waterline.
I used Missha BB Cream in #21 with my Sigma flat top kabuki brush.
Applied the blush with my Mac 186SE (Christmas mini version)

Annnddd That pretty much sums it up lol!
And of course, it wouldn't be complete without a silly face photo.

Oooh and here is yesterday's Mani Matte!

Dollish Polish Swatches & Review of Space, The Final Frontier & Team Salvatore.

Good Morning All! :) Well not too good here, I'm not feeling good and just threw up out of nowhere :(
That isn't going to make Physical Therapy any easier, and neither will the fact that I'm awake at 5 am..
But I have a feeling that I will fall right to sleep after I post this!
Dedication!! Feel loved you guys :)
I feel awful right now but I am thinking of you! I just have to share these swatches with you!

Today's post is one I am very excited for! Two polishes from Dolly, Dollish Polish!!
I love these two so SO much! <3 I have worn each at least twice since they got them, and that is pretty darn rare for me to wear the same polish again that often!

First off here is Space, the Final Frontier.
I really want to sleep, feel awful so I'm going to skip explaining the colors,
but swatches speak louder than words :)
3 thin coats of the Star Trek inspired- Space, the Final Frontier.
This polish was a tad thin, but not runny or hard to work with at all, it applied very smoothly.

These last two pictures were with a daylight lamp, the others with camera flash.

Next up is Dollish Polish-Team Salvatore.
Omg YES, I LOVE The Vampire Diaries, which is what this is inspired from!
Mmm Damon Salvatore. /drool
I used one pretty thick coat over China Glaze-Ravishing Dahling.
I love this polish, I did have to "maneuver" a little bit, kind of like with most Lynnderella's.
Just took a little work to get the amount of red glitter I wanted, I wish it just had a little bit more red.
It spread out very well & evenly. I just went back and added more of the bigger pieces I wanted.
Completely smooth with 2 coats of Seche Vite.

Since I used it in this post I figured I'd show China Glaze-Ravishing Dahling alone too.
I chose it because it looks like the color of blood :D
What better color to use for a Vampire inspired polish?!
This is two coats, I messed up the pinky a bit but meh :) (this is a jelly polish)

You can purchase Dollish Polish from her Etsy shop HERE
She sells full size bottles for $8.00, and mini's too!
Her Etsy is closed currently but will open up again really soon!
Her polishes are so great, I can't wait to get more!!

Check out her Blog, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter!

Barielle Swatches & Review Cosmic Kiss, Starchild, Sky's the Limit & Platinum Ring.

Happy Monday everybody! I hope you all had a great Easter!
Sorry for the lack of holiday themed nail art, we celebrated early with family in Georgia and I didn't feel much like it. Wow, April again!? Only 2 weeks until my one year Blogiversary! Which means I really need to kick my butt into gear with the giveaway I have planned! But I also move in three weeks so in all honesty it will probably be late. BUT-worth the wait!

Anyway, onto the post! I have 4 of the new Barielle shades to show you guys today!
First off is Cosmic Kiss. A very pretty medium pink creme.
Great formula, SO close to being a one coater but it barely needed two. Very pretty and springy!

Then I added a coat of Starchild. A Gorgeous holo glitter polish packed full of silver holo glitter in all different sizes! It spreads very evenly over the nail, and dries very smooth! Love this!

Next up is Sky's the Limit. I expected this to be darker by how it appeared in the bottle but I was pleasantly surprised. It lights right up and is a beautiful medium sapphire blue color. I'm not crazy about the Brushstokeyness but it doesn't bother me much. Good formula, a bit runny but not hard to work with.
I used 3 thin coats.
Again I decided to add a coat of Starchild. But I much prefer it over creme finishes. Not crazy about the combo together. But maybe it is just me, it looked better in person vs. the pics.
I'd say last but not least but.. I do kind of like this one least. I mean it's pretty, but not my favorite.
Platinum Ring is your standard silver foil, it is a little runny and went on a tiny bit streaky.
Nothing that couldn't be fixed with the 3rd thin coat but I have other silver foils that apply better and I will probably lean towards. I like that is it metallic without being super shimmery most my other silver metallic/foils (Zoya-Trixie for instance) Are really shimmery so this could be good for certain looks when I want that.
It does stamp, but I think letting it get a little thicker would make stamping easier with it.
I was also curious about if Cosmic Kiss, and Sky's the Limit would stamp well, so I tested it out with my DRK-A plate. They did pretty darn good too!

:) Skylar really liked these, she kept pointing and saying "Star, Star!" She's adorable :D

You can purchase Barielle Nail polishes at their website http://www.barielle.com/
for $8.00 each, or if you buy more than one they are B1G1 half off! They have promos and deals pretty often too! Register on their site and you get a 15% off code!
Hope you all have a great day! <3
