50 followers Giveaway ideas & recommendations!

I plan to do my first giveaway when I get 50 followers! I have a few things already but not much and figured since I have to get some more that recommendations would be nice since you guys will be the ones wanting the loot! Please nothing that i can't get though like Gosh holo or anything ridiculously expensive lol
Sorry i am a little late on it & not having everything quite yet but my hubby gets home from deployment VERY soon and I have a lot to do! But i would love to hear what YOU guys would like to win!

Zoya Adina Stamped & mini stamping tutorial.

Morning all! I couldn't sleep so I did my nails :) I painted them with Adina <3 Then I took a  few pictures for my friend Eryn, who has never seen the nail stamping before, so there will be a few extra pictures as a sort of walk through for her, and the links of the products I used. The pictures kind of suck but i only have myself to take them so : /

Here is Adina alone <3

Zoya Nail Polish in Adina can be best described as: Violet metallic multichrome. A frosty hint of green and magenta creates a unique "oil-slick" look.

First up here is the Bundle Monster plate I used, BM-222
The 25 pc. Bundle Monster Nail stamping Plate set is available at Amazon.com for $21.99 + free shipping.

I used the Konad special nail stamping polish also from Amazon.com (Can you tell I <3 amazon? hehe)
Then you paint over the design imprint that you want to use quickly with the polish.

And scrap it quickly and stamp, you should try to do these steps as fast as you can but it takes some practice!
I scrap off the excess with a plastic card from dave & busters, just like store rewards cards. These work better imo and they don't scratch the plates like the metal scraper that comes with the Konad stamper.
You then stamp it, again as quickly as possible but trust me it takes time to not suck at this! lol I still usually do :) This is a picture of it stamped onto the stamper.

* Also a tip is to file your stamper before using it, this helps the stamper pick up the pattern easier*

If it comes out like this, not perfect I use it on the pinky or smaller nail so you don't notice so much, when you stamp it onto the nail don't just press it fat, you have to stamp it in a sort of rolling motion, which I couldn't get a picture of alone, but i high suggest looking at tutorials on youtube for technique!

& here is my finished product!

Hope this helped anybody who needed it, I am not great at explaining things but though I would try! I'd have done a video if it wouldn't have woken my daughter :)
If you have any questions or suggestions feel frre to ask/comment below! Thanks for lookign & have a wonderful day!

Zoya Indigo shiny & matte :D ZOMG LOVE!

Seriously What more is there to say, Just look at this matte <3 I am in love! My qtica sugar scrub looks like it scratched my topcoat a little before I put the matte on but :) here you guys go!

2 Coats of Indigo + seche vite

& here it is with Essie's matte about you!

You can't see the holo glitter as much as I'd like but I think that is my bad for doing 2 coats of seche vite (I did another after I put the rinestone things on) Beautiful nonetheless!!

Zoya Earth Day Haul & test pictures!

Okay I just got done making my light box and my nails are bare (gasp!) So I took pictures of the polishes I got in the mail today! Very quick test ones, I still need to get a full spectrum light bulb but what do you think? I also thought it would be a good idea to ask you all What color(s) should I use first?! Too many choices! So comment with what you'd like to see first!  Also I included another picture of Indigo because it is so pretty! You can click on the pictures to see them bigger to read the names or just look to at them :)

Zoya Dove & New BundleMonster plate BM-224

Here are my nails today, which actually look MUCH better in person but my camera makes the flaws so much more obvious! It smudged pretty bad and I think I scratched it aswell but I figured I'd post it still meh :P
I used Seche vite which has never smudged my stamped nails before but I am thinking maybe I just applied it too soon after I stamped them? How long after you stamp yours do you typically wait? It seemed very dry but I still really liked them, they were even cute before they smudged :) I used 2 coat of Zoya-Dove, which is a pale grey creme & the konad black stamping polish.

Oh and I am in the process of making my light box :) I kind of used it for this, but the poster is in my car and it is raining so I just used construction paper & the new lightbulb I got and the fabric comes tomorrow I just used a thin white towel to see if it would work for the night LOL Still a huge improvement haha but hopefully when it is put together with everything that it will work nicer :)
It is still storming pretty bad here more tornado watches, and flood warnings until tomorrow but hopefully it will die down. I really hate this weather I just want to go into the sun and bring my daughter to the park, plus the thunder has been waking & scaring her :(

Thanks for looking have a awesome day!

China Glaze Lemon Fizz & Sinful Colors Unicorn

Yesterday When the tornado warnings & storms stopped I went to Walgreens to get some Sinful Colors Polish, they are on sale for $0.99 each! I got unicorn, let's meet, innocent, mint apple, savage, why not, love nails, nirvana, social ladder, pink forever, & beautiful girl. I also got Sally Hansen's bubblegum & twisted pink and wet n wild sunny side up. Unicorn looked a lot like CG lemon fizz to me when I was at the store, so when I got home I swatched them, I guess I am on a yellow kick lately even though I usually don't' like yellow much! They look similar but Unicorn is more green, but honestly it is less noticeable in person imo! Not quite a dupe but still!
I am about to head to bed But See you all tomorrow! :D

Happy Easter!!!!

I hope you all have had/having a wonderful Easter! Or Sunday if you don't celebrate it!
Okay so..my Easter mani is pretty deformed : / but I wanted to post it anyway lol. I had to redo them like 4x because my daughter kept messing it up when it was wet, so the designs just kept getting simpler :P But here it is anyways!

This was my favorite egg I dyed :) The colors I used are Sally Hansen's mint sorbet, Ulta's Sun-Sational, and Sally Hansen's Lacey Lilac.

Pretty straightforward colors, Mint Sorbet is a pastel mint creme, Lacey Lilac is a pastel lilac creme, and Sun-Sational is a bright yellow creme!

Hereis a picture of all the eggs I dyed :)

Requested by Anita (good thinking to to honor Earth day with it!)
Tree hugger was part of China Glaze's ecocollection
This was 3 coats, but only because I messed up the second LOL I think you can get away with 2 :)

Tree hugger is a lime/green apple green to me, it has beautiful shimmer in it! Wish i knew how to descibe it better!

This was requested from Let them have polish :)

This was 2 coats, one thin coat and then a thicker but honestly I have gotten away with one coat with this color before it is beautiful!
Pinta is a dark, deep creme blurple! A purple with very strong blue undertones.

Nars- Orgasm Polish

I Love this Polish-not typically a color I would pick out, but it was a free sample. I completely love it! the shimmer is amazing!
This was three coats, it is pretty thin but oh so pretty!

Requested by Julie on FB :)
This was 3 coats, it started a bit streaky for me but ended up nice (except my painting job was a wreck!)
This is a light periwinle blue creme

Wet n wild- How I met your magenta

A hot pink requested by Eryn on FB <3
wet n wild- How I met your magenta (I believe this was 4 coats maybe three, this dries really fast though & is pretty sheer)

China Glaze Lemon Fizz & Solar Power

Hello All! Just watched Bones on the DVR :D Anyway today I felt like something in Easter-ish colors! I really wanted to do a Cute Easter mani but My daughter lost my nail stamper and I don't have any nail art brushes (though some are on their way!) But hopefully I find my stamper & I can use my a light lilac & mint green or something :D

I used China Glaze-Lemon Fizz- A pretty daffodil pastel yellow creme
& then I layered China Glaze-Solar Power over half my nail diagonally using tape :) Solar Power is a "Taxi-cab yellow" with golden shimmer.

Here is Lemon Fizz By it's self, 3 coats no top coat

& Here is it paired with Solar power + seche vite.

The Zoya Polish Exchange

For those of you who don't know about it already or aren't aware of Zoya (My fav brand!) They have this polish exchange going on where you buy a minimum of 6 polishes, maximum of 12 for $4 each instead of the retail price of $8! You send them old, dried up, etc polishes back for them to recycle. Also you do not HAVE to send them any back, or the same number of polishes you bought. They are accepting mini bottles too. I believe this is going on until April 27th. The code [EARTHZOYA] is only redeemable once per account.

I went a little crazy and bought tons! 18 total polishes and also the BOGO remove + deal, I caved in haha remove + is the best polish remover I have ever used though, it doesn't dry my nails or cuticles out which for me is a huge issue with cheap removers.

The colors I ordered that you can look forward to seeing are : Adina,Barbie, Charla, Edyta, Freja, Indigo, Jancyn, Jolene, Kelly, Kiki, Kotori, Midori, Perrie, Pippa, Robyn, Tallulah, Veruschuka & Zara!

Also I ordered the new bundle monster plates so I will have a lot to post soon!

It's about time!

Okay Introduction, my name is Sarah, I have a crazy love for nail polish and I have been following polish blogs for at least 3 years now. I have always wanted to make my own, but I am a procrastinator at times plus I had no idea what to name it! (Samarium is a element on the periodic table if anybody is wondering!) Anyway to sum me up I am 22, a stay at home mom to my 19 month old daughter Skylar, and a army wife of 3 years to my husband London. He is currently deployed but will be home very soon!! And I am wondering why I didn't start this earlier in the deployment to help take up my time lol I always took pictures of my nails when I'd paint them so making a blog just seemed like common sense :) Just bare with me I am very new at this! I also struggle with dyslexia but spell check is my best friend :) But if there are typo's occasionally I apologize.
