piCture pOlish Blog Fest 2012! Orbit & Demeter! Updated with Gradient!

Hey guys! Guess what today is??
It's piCture pOlish's Blog Fest!! They are launching 11 brand new shades!!

There are about 80 bloggers world wide participating in Blog Fest 2012 so keep an eye out!

 Starting off with Demeter!
This polish is so beautiful, I think this one is my favorite of the two.
I don't have that many browns that I love but this is now my favorite! And super unique.
Demeter was created with Katie from http://www.harlowandco.org/!

I used three thin coats of Demeter in these pictures! It's a little sheer but goes on perfectly.
Macro Wonderful-ness!

Orbit is awesome, the formula is a little thicker than Demeter but applies very easy.
Seriously SO close to being a one coater, I mean you probably could do one.. but I like thinner coats
Use 2 coats of topcoat.
Orbit is from the Mesh line.
(Taken in Direct Sunlight.)
(These were taken in the shade in the window of my sisters house, The polish is SO shiny, it looks duo-chromey but I believe that is just the reflection of her red back porch. I'm not 100% though because it seems to show in the matte photo aswell? But I wanted to be sure and tell you guys and let you decide!)

Orbit Mattified!

This baby was just begging me to be matte! So I gladly obliged :)
I used Essie-Matte about you on top of Orbit.

And I did a Gradient on top of Demeter today with Orbit!
Not the best, my daughter was hovering really badly and trying to help haha.

Both of these polishes are so amazing and gorgeous! I highly recommend both!

The new piCture pOlish collaberation shades are available Here
Like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter!

Beads Ink Nail Polish Jewelry Review!

Hey guys! Today's post is just full of win!
Steph from BeadsInk on Etsy sent me some awesome Nail Polish Jewelry to review!

First off I want to say that she has great customer service and just is an absolute sweetheart.

To be honest I completely forgot about this review. I feel terrible about it, I just lost track and it got passed over somehow. This is one of the reasons that I really want to try to be more organized with blogging.
I did move and we still are staying with family, I don't have my own blogging space like before, but I still just feel so bad about this. She was so sweet and understanding, and I really wanted to let you guys know how much of an awesome person she is.

Another reason I wanted to include this was that I never see posts like this, I am still learning, I STILL feel like a noob. Things happen, people make mistakes. I would never try to act like I am perfect at anything in my life. I am chock full of problems and imperfections, who isn't?
I'm really working hard to be more organized to prevent something like this from ever happening again.

Now on to the pretties!
In these photos I'm wearing earrings made with Nail-Venruous-Floam, And a square pendant made with Nerd Lacquer-Holy Grail.
1" inch square glass tile set in a silver plated setting, hangs from an 18" silver 1.2mm snake chain.

I don't wear earrings much like I used to when I was younger, I loved dangley ones but after I had my daughter that quickly diminished! I'm so intrigued by gauged ears, I don't think I'd ever do that to mine but I think in some instances it looks very cute! Which is why I like these so much! They give the same effect without actually having to follow through :)

The pendant is so beautiful and so well made. I like that it is a bit heavy.
Made with one of my favorite nail polishes, this is just perfect! Not too small or too big-just right!

Here are two macro pictures of the pendant!
The first is what it looks like in direct sunlight, the second one in the shade.
(For some reason the second photo is a bit 'dull' looking, but it shows the glitter very well. The first picture is more color accurate.)
And a matching ring for the Pendant, also made with NL Holy Grail!
I love big rings so I chose the 25x18mm Oval one!
(Wearing the matching polish!)
I also got the 25x18 mm Oval ring with Dollish Polish-Team Salvatore!
I love this polish and Vampire Diaries so much! (Mmm Ian!)

I'm so impressed with the packaging! It is so cute and professional!
It really shows that she put a lot of work into it! Here are some quick cellphone pics that I snapped after I opened it!

The prices are super affordable, her jewelry is super pretty.. what are you waiting for?!
She has some really unique settings that I haven't seen other people using too!
Steph is also having a Summer sale right now where everything is 20% off! I'm not sure when it ends so hurry up!
Normal prices range from $7.00 to $14.00!

Follow her on Twitter & Facebook!!
And a silly face, because I KNOW you love to see them :P jk haha

I hope you all have  a wonderful weekend!!
BTW my giveaway will be up at 12:00 am CST 7/28!

Looking for Advice!

Hey guys! I was wondering if any fellow bloggers have any tips or tricks for being a more organized blogger? I am NOT a naturally organized person (though, is anyone? no idea!)
I really want to make a big change and try to improve my focus on my blog. I've been a a bit of a rut lately.
I want to blog more regularly, and find a more efficient way to swatch and review.
So far I've just been lazy and did most on days where I feel motivated, which aren't that common.
I just want to commit myself more and I could really use help and advice!

And readers I appreciate your input as much as bloggers and anything you have to say will  more be productive!
Please take a minute to read this and drop me a comment!
Or email me @ Sarahmaye,gmail.com if you are
comfortable with that.

Ladybug Nail Polish Holder Review!

Hey! I have a new product review (well, new to me!) for you guys today!
A nail polish holder!! What a nifty contraption!

It sort of reminds me of a Gyro bowl, same concept - It tilts to prevent spilling..which trust me I have done plenty!
The design is super cute! Really does remind me of a ladybug!
It has three rubbery black circles on the bottom to tilt it each way and to keep it in place.
The hole looks kind of small, I was worried it might rip putting a bottle isn't but it is still perfectly fine!
It will hold all different kinds polish brands & bottles!

It is especially nice since I'm staying at my sisters house atm, so I've been more worried about spilling polish even more than I normally am!

I plan to try my acetone in it as well, I have a really small bottle that I refill with a larger one that I am pretty sure will fit in here! Acetone doesn't stain but it will eat away at plastic!

Pictured here with Zoya-Tallulah inside it.
I'm very sorry this isn't a more picture heavy review, I took a few of the bottom but they were blurry. :(
But out of laziness I was hoping you guys would get the idea, and let it slip!

I do like this, I wouldn't say it was completely necessary at all..
BUT coming from somebody who is a Klutz and has on more than one occasion spilled polish I really like it!

The Ladybug Nail Polish Holder is available to purchase HERE from Amazon for $7.95 (+$3.95 Shipping)
Follow them on Twitter & Like them on Facebook!

Hope you guys are having a really great weekend! I'm catching up on Eureka with the fam!
Sucks that it's over :(

(P.S.  One will be in my upcoming giveaway!)

Sea Lore Triton's Daughters Collection Swatches & Review!

Hey guys! Today I have a brand new indie polish brand for you, Created by Jamie.
It's called Sea Lore

" A seahorse yellow jelly base with mint green hexes, gold glitter, and golden shimmer. "
One coat of Adella over Zoya-Shawn. This was one of my favorite combos!
(Top photo in daylight, bottom with flash)
" A sea anemone pink jelly polish with rose colored hexes and rose shimmer."
One coat of Alana over Bettina-45 . Again super pretty, & very girly!

"Deep sea urchin purple jelly base with purple hex glitters and purple shimmer."
Andrina over Cult Nails-Charming. I love purple & glitter so there is nothing bad about this!

" Deep sea blue jelly base with blue shimmer and blue iridescent flakies. "
Aquata over Lex Cosmetics-Lil Mama. Aquata is beautiful, very sheer but it adds so much to a polish when you layer it. Another fav! Kind of reminds me on Sally Hansen HD-DVD but way better!
" Bright turquoise jelly base with red squares, purples hexes, green glitter, and green shimmer. "
 Ariel over Color Club-Blue-ming
Ariel is my favorite!! It is a topcoat whore though, expect to use more than one layer of TC!

"Deep crimson jelly polish with red holo hexes and red shimmer."

Arista over Cult Nails-Evil Queen. This one is the most opaque but I still layered it so I didn't waste any!
"A coral jelly polish with golden shimmer and golden iridescent flakies."

This is two coats of Attina over China Glaze-Papaya Punch.
I'm sorry about the picture of this it's a little blurry :( I wanted to layer this over a coral but it seems like I pretty much have none D: Attina is very unique in my collection. This is my sisters fav!

Adella, Alana, and Andrina on my naked nails by themselves.

Aquata, Ariel, Arista, and Attina on nakie nails.

All of the polishes have a great formula, there was no having to dab on glitter/place it where you want just normal polishing. Really pretty layering polishes!

These polishes are available for purchase at http://www.sealore.net/store/
You have the choice to order the 7.5 ml size ($5.50) or 15 ml ($10.00).

Here is the Sea Lore Facebook page!
