Paint Box Polish Swatches and Review!

Hey all! Today I have a two Indie polishes to show you!

Pam from Paint Box Polish asked me to review some of her new Harry Potter themed polishes and I just had to say yes! I've loved Harry Potter since the first time I read it in 4th grade :)

Right now she has four polishes in the collection, one for each Hogworts House!
Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin.
I have Gryffindor and Slytherin to show you guys!

Slytherin on the left, Gryffindor on the right.

Gryffindor

A beautiful, rich gorgeous red with irregular gold sparkles.
(Coming from somebody who really isn't a red person!)
The shimmer is so pretty, a little more hidden on the nail then the bottle but still very visible!
It was completely opaque in two coats!

Sorry the last photo is a little blurry, but it just showed off how metallic it is!
Here is one in the light box, without the direct light you can really see the holo particles here! :)

Slytherin
Slytherin is pretty crazy! Crazy in a good way but it was hard for me to capture!
It looks different depending on the lighting! In direct sunlight it is super sparkly with micro shimmer, but in the shade you see sparse silver holo glitter. It's a gorgeous complex shade!

With no basecoat or with clear basecoat it will need three coats to be fully opaque.
I found that I prefer to wear this over my Deborah Lippmann nude colored Ridge Fillling Basecoat the most.
With that I waste less polish, and it is opaque in two coats.
Though without basecoat it applied great, the end result looked much smoother with it.
The actual application was the same either way, it only affected the finish.

I really love Pam's polishes, I think that these will appeal to a lot of people that I have heard saying that Indies should make something other than glitter bombs. Which I like glitter a lot but it is nice seeing other finishes covered aswell.

Pam sells full size bottles along with mini's.
Her full size Polishes are priced at $8.50, and the mini's at $4.00.
You can purchase them from her Etsy HERE!

Follow Paint box Polish on Facebook, and Twitter!

To make this deal EVEN sweeter she was kind enough to make a coupon code for my followers!
Use code SAMARIUMS20 for 20% of her shop! Code is good for 30 days!

I hope you guys are having a great evening!
