Aphrodite Lacquers Romes and Jules Collection - Swatches & Review

Hi all! Today I have six of the Aphrodite Lacquers Romes and Jules Collection!

This is my first experience with Aphrodite Lacquers, so far I'm very pleased!

Fortune's Fool, Misadventure, Montagues, Story of Woe, Two Star Crossed Lovers, & Violent Delights.

Fortune's Fool

"milky light blue polish, lots of different blue and holo glitters, with a hidden light blue shimmer"

This is beautiful! Three thin coats to opacity.

Misadventure

 "a bright blue jelly polish, with lots of different blue glitters, and smaller holo glitters"

Four thin coats, only three are needed though!

Gorgeous, completely up my alley!

Montagues

"black jelly polish with pink, green, blue, and purple shiny glitters"

Three coats shown above, Like Misadventure and Story of Woe I should have added a fourth to counteract the flash making it appear a bit more sheer than it actually is.

Story of Woe

" a bright purple jelly polish, with lots of different purple glitters, and smaller holo glitters"

I used four thin coats for this swatch, just like Misadventure.

Both appear sheerer in pictures with the flash so I added a fourth coat to compensate for that.

I would just use three coats if I wasn't photographing them! Again this is SO up my alley /drool

Two Star Crossed Lovers

"milky light purple polish, lots of different purple and holo glitters, with a hidden purplish-pinkish shimmer"

Three thin coats, still a tiny bit sheer but the VNL is very minimal.

Violent Delights

"milky white jelly polish, packed with white glitters of various sizes and all the different pink and purple glitters from this collection, and holo microglitters scattered throughout"

Three thin coats again, next time i will layer this one! It's really full of glitters so when applying you have to do it slowly and evenly so it doesn't get a bit lumpy. Very Pretty, reminds me of a Lynnderella!
